Welcome to SeaSlugTeam.Com, your reliable source of every kind of tech product, resources, and latest information of the tech world.
Sea Slug Team was started by a group of techies who met in a group for people who are also passionate about tech products. After discussing and researching shortwave and longwave radios, we discovered that there’s not a lot of solid information available online. The idea for a website was born!
Here at Sea Slug Team, we cover anything and everything to do with the following topics:
- Radio reviews
- The differences between various types of radios
- Options and reviews for radio parts
- Two-way radios
- CB Radios
- Ham radios
- All types of communication devices
- Music listening devices
- And much, much more!
Whether you’re looking to become a ham radio user or just checking out reviews to buy your kid the best kids walkie-talkies, we’ve got you covered here at Sea Slug Team. We cover everything from basic radio usage to how to use a satellite radio to communication, then on to troubleshooting issues that arise when you’re using it. Whatever your need, we strive to meet it.
Here’s the thing: radio is both simple and complex at the same time. It’s fun and fairly easy to get going, but the more you learn, the more you want to learn. We enjoy helping our readers get beyond beginner levels into more complex topics.
We love hearing from our readers. If you have any questions or content recommendations, just drop a comment on one of our articles or send a private message to our team.
We look forward to hearing from you!

Michael Powell- Founder, Researcher of SeaSlugTeam
Michael Powell, the creator of SeaSlugTeam.
I and my team are very passionate about tech products and accessories. I currently live in Chicago.
I am a telecommunication engineer and working for a well-known company here. I am the lead researcher and developer of the SeaSlugTeam.
My mission at SeaSlugTeam.Com is to provide regular tech product reviews & resources. I hope you enjoy our reviews and information.
Edwin Weaver – Senior EditorI’ve been interested in broadcast journalism since I was in high school and worked for my school’s radio station.
After getting my Bachelor of Communications in Broadcast and Digital Journalism, I went to work for a large radio station in Dallas. I think the whole concept of getting information, music, news, etc…out there via broadcast is still important, even in the days of the internet. Maybe even especially in the days of the internet.
In my free time, I enjoy reading and perusing used bookstores for vintage books that I can add to my collection. You can contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org
Frances K. Smith – Junior EditorWhen I came to work here, I didn’t know much about radios, and couldn’t even have told you the difference between a shortwave radio and a longwave radio. I just knew I wanted to write and edit. However, I quickly found the topics we wrote about fascinating.
I help our chief editor oversee our excellent team of writers and radio enthusiasts who work for us. It’s really rewarding to be able to read, write, and edit about topics that are fascinating.
For fun, I get outdoors as much as possible. I enjoy cycling and hiking. You can reach me at email@example.com
Beverly Stephenson – Radio EnthusiastI grew up in a time when people had CB radios in their homes and interacted with people at night. It was very similar to the way people interact on Facebook today. We all even had our own CB handles. Mine was Pink Panther, BTW.
As an adult, I took my radio enthusiasm a step further and started playing around with ham and short wave radios. Writing about stuff that interests the community of radio enthusiasts like myself is a dream job. I never get tired of talking about radios and to this day, still enjoy interacting via this medium.
