Gunslinger Girl 12
Here we get back to the anti-terrorist action. A plot to kidnap the daughter of a high ranking official has been discovered, and the SWC uses the old swaparoo trick to make the baddies kidnap Claes instead! I don’t see why this works, as Claes looks nothing like the real daughter. They should have used [...]

Gunslinger Girl 11
Picking up right where the last episode left off, the investigators travel to Sicily, where Jose and Henrietta are vacationing. Here, we get to see some bonding between Gabriella and Henrietta in the kitchen and at the oceanside. Finally, the truth is exposed, as Henrietta already had it pretty much all figured out (as do [...]

Gunslinger Girl 10
Death is the order of the day in this episode, but whodunnit? The social welfare corporation sends Jose and Henrietta away on mandatory vacation to hide the nasty truth from them. Gunslinger Girl 7
This is a fairly old episode too, but it’s one of the most atmospheric ones in the series. It has the Mediterranean feel of Noir without the funky color scheme, and features some splendiferous backgrounds. Plus, we get some double-team gunfighting in the last car chase!

Gunslinger Girl 5
It’s not a new episode, but it’s certainly one of my favorites. The episode is centered on Claes, and delves into the reasons why she is the only one that does not have a “brother” and does not go on missions. It’s a somewhat depressing episode, there’s very little action, and some plot elements are [...]
