Summary:

No chin, in spite of the double chin
Fumiaki is introduced as the new Japanese History teacher “Abe Minoru” and he reveals to new principal (per Junichirou’s will) Maya that he is a time traveler from 2012. In 2012, Earth sucks because alternate dimension tripod-beaks rule our world. This bad end matched up exactly with Nostradamus’ Angolmois prophecy, and thus Fumiaki has been sent back to destroy Nostrdamus’ Key before a dimensional rift opens near the school on July 21, 2999.
Fortunately, the 2012 Earthlings managed to pirate some alien technology, and have outfitted Fumiaki with a history change simulator phone that can show the targeted item in 2012 or show how the action you are thinking about doing to the target will affect 2012. Back in 1999, Chihiro notes that the evidence has been disposed of with the cremation of Junichirou’s corpse, and Maya is suddenly attacked by a ghostly assailant while staying in her father’s mansion. Maya’s saved by her father’s journal which hints that Junichirou was murdered and that the book possesses defensive magical spells to protect Maya. With this, Maya decides to team up with Fumiaki, and begins attending classes.
Reaction:

I thought it was more like a bat weight at first, but this is so much better
Although the show contains subtle hints like young Fumiaki bending a spoon on TV, the writers decide to just hand us the information later on. I found this a little strange, and I’m not sure yet if Chihiro is really as villainous as they are making her out to be. Watch Chihiro is actually trying to help Maya because she really did love Junichirou. I can’t wait till Fumiaki starts taking pictures of girls while thinking about boning them, to see which ones would get pregnant from said boning (or which girls will get fat in 13 years).
It seems like Maya is pretty decent with physical damage, but she cannot deal damage to those with strong physical immunity or resistance. I guess it’s good she got that journal, because so far she’s only been able to beat up scrubs. And while Maya’s lance work was nice, lances suck. Even zombies can own lance-users. Fumiaki was depicted as rather silly, but I think it’s just an act. He was talking so much smack in 2012 that I think he’s hiding his true capabilities.

Smile got to be my favorite character in this show so far.
I like how he is not afraid to punch the students in the face. We’ve yet to actually see him fix anything, though.
Well this show is only 13 episodes long anyways so expect it to be a little fast paced. Good humor, entertaining and really nice animation. Honestly though I’m a fan of Maya and Chihiro (in spite of the “dango” hairstyle)
It’s those sexy eyes and pouty lips they have!
Honestly though what was Abe thinking chasing after her like that? I would have first tried to head towards the nearest area with clothing. I mean he totally landed on a school right? But somehow ends up chasing Maya through the woods … *durrr*
I don’t think he realized he was naked at first, since he had been in a skin-tight bodysuit just a few moments ago. Then again, you’d think he’d notice the lack of support pretty quickly…
So this show continues to be ….boring? -___-
when half of episode is spent on completely random chase and main continues to act like a FRACKING WIMP, you just know that this show has no depth nor anything else.
eh…shallow comedy with even more boring characters…this show had a great potential, but turning it into mainstream comedy ruined it all.
This episode was definitely not as exciting as the first one, but I think you gotta build a base for the main story. I agree the comedy does occasionally feel out of place.

[...] I was joking about it last time, but I was delighted to see Fumiaki use his simulator on Chihiro, only to find that some flags are not worth triggering. [...]
