As Madara is kind of a one-trick pony, Minato absolutely smokes him by slamming Madara with a Ransengan and tramp-stamping Madara’s lower back with a Flying Thunder God tattoo. Minato then hack-warps all around, stabbing Madara and slapping a contract seal on the masked man to free the Kyuubi. Madara realizes that he is completely outclassed, and after leaving Minato with a warning, Madara warps away to QQ some more on the boards and read a few more walkthrough FAQs.
Would have been better if you sealed the EVIL half
With Madara gone, Minato summons Gamabunta to curb-stomp the Kyuubi until Minato can warp himself and the Kyuubi to Kushina’s location and lock the Kyuubi down with Kushina’s chakra chains. Rather than have Kushina wrap up the Kyuubi and then die, Minato decides it’d be better to seal her remaining chakra and half of the Kyuubi inside of Naruto. This way the Kyuubi will be contained (instead of just saddled with a long respawn timer), and Kushina will get a chance to see grown-up (sorta) Naruto. The other half will be sealed inside of Minato at the cost of his life, with the Dead Demon Seal.
Reaction:
This was a pretty awesome chapter, and it was good to see how everything went down. The battle itself was not too surprising, except in how badly Minato beat up Madara. Madara is lucky that the Kyuubi is so strong, because if Minato could have defeated the Kyuubi without sacrificing his life, Minato would have then warped to Madara’s location and punched him in the nuts.
We also got a few touching moments like seeing how Iruka’s parents died in the fight, and yet he still later put aside his hate for the Kyuubi and became like a father to Naruto. Then there was Kurenai’s father holding her out of the fight so that she would eventually be able to give him a grandson (a descendant of the Hiruzen clan, no less). I think this chapter really showed just how crazy powerful the Kyuubi is, to the point where even half of the Kyuubi’s chakra should make Naruto insanely strong.

It was a pretty moving chapter.
I’m a bit disappointed that Madara is so terrible on his own though.
Also, the demon seal looks really cool.
I think Madara is powerful against most people, but Minato makes most opponents look foolish. I wonder if the eye-suck does anything, or if it’s only useful as a stalling technique in battle.
Minato made Madara looked so pathetic. If Minato can do it that easily, I’m sure Naruto wouldn’t have a problem defeated the asshole. Unless his boyfriend Sasgay decided to interfere and make it a threesome.
Yeah, I was really surprised at how badly Madara got served, although his ability to phase in and out is limited by his reaction time, and this plays into Minato’s incredible speed and teleportation powers.
Great chapter, I’m happy that Minato didn’t lose out against Madara and the rasengan actually connected.
I wonder how Naruto is gonna react to this.

this was a good chapter ! i really like how they finally talk about how kyuubi got sealed. and man, dead demon seal is just epic when someone like 4th uses it.

We got to know more about the past about our Konoha ninjas!Iruka and Kurenai’s parents..
When I saw Iruka crying for his mother,it reminded me of how Nagato’s parents were killed by the Konoha ninjas and he was left alone,crying…
Mostly the past story will wrap up in another 1-2 chapters..
Then we’ll get to know how Naruto fully learns to control the Kyuubi like Hachibi Killerbee !!

pity iruka didnt get strong like the other characters of same plight, he’s just a normal ninja at the end.
Who cares if rasengan connected or not, Madara is pretty much unphased by something what was treated as one-hit-kill tech during the start of its introduction. Oh and yay Madara will probably go “just as planned, i wanted kyuubi sealed in narutoe”….
Overall this was useless flashback, which has shown us just how different this manga became.
Once upon a time, this manga was actually awesome. It was a story of little underachiever who went on to “screw destiny” and achieve things far greater than geniuses and destined.
Now its all about an uber jesus pacifist main character and his DESTINY. Even the whole flashback was used to set up even more of contrived DESTINED NaruSasu bromance.
This flashback also completely destroyed Minato as character. Now he is nothing but one-trick-pony, rasenganing anyone he fights. Seriously, it seems that ONLY the Third Hokage was awesome. Everyone after his death pretty much was cartoony-goodie or james-bond-villain-evil.
Well, kishi successfully killed off all awesome villains (Pain, which had great main-villain potential, Danzo, which was realistic and awesome till all the sharinhax shit, Orochimaru, Kabuto, who now joined the PIS-lackeys-of-madara group) to hype up “madara”, so let’s see where it goes, but so far Madara fails as villain. Im sure Kishi will do some sort of “what a tweest” revealing madara as Jyuubi’s “hatred” or “evil” or something(at the way at which manga seems to color everything in black and white ever since the trolling in the pain arc, its entirely possible)
um Kabuto already has betrayed Madara and is planing somthing he is no pawn or lackey plus he is way stronger then Madara
Does that matter?
Madara will still see everything Kabuto has planned and pwn Kabuto -__-
no he won’t Kabuto has the advantage and is a better villain plus he is smarter and stronger he has that coffin thing on him as well

So was Orochimaru.
So was Pain.
So was Danzo.
Kabuto will most likely pull out some sort of betrayal, in turn revealing that Masked Man is not Madara. Then Madara will revweal he knew Kabuto would do that and pwn Kabuto -.-
Kabuto is just a plot device now to reveal us that Masked Man is not Madara (Since Madara was in that last coffin)
Then there will be some sort of digimon-like logic of madara being HATRED or Jyuubi’s mind/soul/whatever and main character will fight that with PEACE….
Well, what’s the point of developing Minato? He was dead at the start of the story. Besides, he has his seal warping, his time-space warping, his rasengan, and his incredible sealing techniques. Plus, his rasengan makes sense as a technique of choice because it is fast and requires no seals, which is perfect against Madara.
I would like to see more gray like Danzo, but I don’t think it’s been that bad. Plus Danzo wasn’t even that long ago.
