Saku Ooyagi is flashback-dreamin’ bout a gal named Mii-chan. Not only did she torment this guy for most of his life, she even tricked him into thinking she would undress for him. Even worse, she falls off a tree “Noe-style“, forcing Saku to go rescue her (In other words, he had to Catch-You-Catch-Me). Flashback-DU-DU-DU-DREAMING is over, and even as a high (or secondary) school student, Saku is still a book-worm who won’t get laid anytime soon. Now that Saku is back at his old childhood neighborhood, his only wish is to never see her again.

On top of the school building: It’s not a bird and it’s definitely not a plane! It’s Card Captor Sakura Mihoshi Akeno (Mii-chan) recruiting new members for the astronomy club. Saku’s worst nightmare had finally come true! Their eyes meet and Mii-chan is ecstatic about his return (she even continues where they left off). Unfortunately, Saku finally confesses what he could not 7 years ago: He hates her!

Saku explains that she didn’t even visit him when he was hospitalized (from the Catch-You-Catch-Me scene), but Mii-chan also expresses her side of the story: She couldn’t visit him because she was ALSO hospitalized after falling down that tree (She like, used the Jump Card to get up there or something, idk, I can’t be certain). Now that they are friends again, this love comedy can finally progress, but a lov-com wouldn’t be complete without an arch-rival, and she has what Mii-chan don’t: Upper-Lip!
I was never the same when they Americanized my show... You see, the Secrets of the Clow... were all a mystery! But when this mighty book was opened, THE POWERS WERE SET FREEEEEEEE!!! CARDCAPTORS!!! A MYSTIC ADVENTURE!!! CARDCAPTORS!!! A QUEST FOR ALL TIME!!!

She has everything Saku would want in a girl: big chest, upper lip, and she’s even a member of the Literature Club! Despite all these turn-ons, Saku agrees to join the Astronomy Club with Mii-chan and the rest of our loser-gang (seriously, who the hell joins an Astronomy Club?!). The End

/Card Captor Sakura references
This episode was very cute and reminded me of Card Captor Sakura Shugo Chara when it was still good (especially the mom and son picture moment… I remember when my mom used to do that). His loser classmate was pretty funny too! I may be very socially awkward, but I’m pretty sure you don’t start a conversation as blatantly as, “HEY! CAN I TALK WITH YOU?!?!” Either way, it was very charming (?) and goofy, which is never a bad thing! I also liked the sickly Club President (Roma) and his blood-coughing moments.
I’m probably the only one rooting for Saku x Fumin (a.k.a. Upper-lip gurl). Lets think rationally; why would Saku want to be with someone who would constantly annoy him? We all know they’re gonna get together anyway, but he seems more suited to Fumin. If he gets with Fumin, they could spend their mornings reading the newspaper… together! *blush* Plus, she has glasses, nicely combed hair, a bigger rack… uppper-lip, etc. Perhaps more girls will appear as time goes by, and our playboy will have more options.
A laid back cute show like this will compliment my style wonderfully! Cause it’s Full of Wonder! Minus the Alice and Land that is. and minus the Card Captor Sakura ;_;

Talking about Shugo Chara, the seiyuu for Mii-chan is the same as the seiyuu for Amu in Shugo Chara. Haha. This anime series is currently on my watchlist, interesting I have to say
That’s some coincidence! I did a bit more research and she’s also the very cute Koume from Taishō Yakyū Musume (the blush marks are hypnotizing…) If you don’t fall in love by the second episode, this show is probably not for you, but it is still highly entertaining.
Also, one more thing I’d like to mention: CONGRATULATIONS ZENICAL!!! YOU ARE THE 13,000TH COMMENTER!!! You don’t win anything though… we don’t do that anymore

Mii-chan may be annoying. She isn’t the sharpest tool in the shed either. However, she does have persistence, determination and a vagina. Not to mention that the Osananajimi + First Girl combo she wields is very powerful.
Unfortunately, Ooyugi-kun’s fate is sealed. Miichan is NOT going out like Noe…

I don’t find Mii-chan that annoying (I’m used to characters like her by now…), but I still think she would be better off finding a more energetic guy.

Once again, you prove sneaky by somehow managing to barely talk about the series in question at all. Which is fine, because I hadn’t even heard of it. But I did wince when I heard the American “Cardcaptors” theme in my head. If they were going to target it to boys, why wouldn’t they leave in the lesbian overtones?
Anyway, lead kid looks like quite a catch, if you’re into that. To me this looks like one of those series where I’m perpetually yelling at the screen because HEY captain nerdboy, card captor cutie there digs you and you think you can do better with your detective Conan glasses? Huh? Then I throw popcorn. What I’m trying to say is I will watch this vicariously through you.
I… I find that quite offensive! I tried my best to make this the most accurate summary to date! Believe me, a lot of things I said in there happen in the show! The whole Kero cameo? TOTALLY IN THERE!!! You just need to watch it yourself instead of blatantly saying things like:

Now that I think about it, the Astronomy Club would seem like a cool hangout, but then again (in RL), there’s a very slim chance that hawt girls would want to join. They’d probably join the “Paint Your Nails” club or my personal favorite, “Get Our Hair Did”. =D
I liked my “MUGGING” caption a lot more actually. If you look very closely, Saku is holding a “mug” while getting “mugged”

Anyways, I’m putting this series on my “to watch” list since you made it sound so interesting. But when I come across the scenes that the pictures are from all I’m going to think about are the captions lol.
