Wow, thanks to all the readers who applied, and I was amazed at how many skillful writers were interested in a spot on the Sea Slugs team! I never thought I’d be able to get so many applications so quickly, but unfortunately there was only one spot available. I’ve got two new writers coming on board later this week, with one selected personally, and one selected from the many applications I received. I’ll leave their identities a mystery for now; it’s not for the tease factor, but rather so they can write their own intro posts. Please don’t feel bad if your application wasn’t accepted! I really enjoyed all the sample posts and apparently it is harder to get into SS!AB than most Ivy League colleges…

At least you didn’t charge anyone for the privilege of being turned down… or did you? You definitely ought to take the deluge of applications as a compliment to both your administration of the site and to the entertaining commentary that you provide. I’m looking forward to seeing who made the cut, and to more SS!AB content, of course.

Btw, that girl’s upper-lip looks like it would smell pretty Mc-Binker-desu in the Forshizzle Department, if ya catch ma drift :3 (Also, glad that you’re linking those photos to the original pixiv artist. We must help the community as much as we can!)
