Everyone is totally bummed out and tired, so Eleanor orders a big Garia Army banquet. Naturally, Squad 7 wants Rosie to sing and represent their squad, but Rosie refuses to sing in front of any Darcsens. Welkin is caught in a tough situation because he doesn’t want to just order Rosie to sing, and he doesn’t like seeing Isara’s feelings hurt. Furthermore, things are getting real weird between Faldio, Welkin, and Alicia, since Welkin can’t admit that he likes Alicia and thus Faldio feels he can brag about having a big crush on Alicia all the time.
The unexpected hero of the episode is Ramal as he stops by to tell her that the Isara he knows steamrolls everyone and dominates everyone like she’s using a tank hack. Isara finally confronts Rosie, only to find out that Rosie’s family tried to hide a bunch of trigger-happy Darcsens during an Imperial Darcsen hunt and the retarded Darcsens ended up killing everyone except Rosie. This makes things real awkward, so Isara gets Rosie to agree to sing if Isara sits out the banquet. At the last moment, Faldio fetches Isara and Rosie allows Isara to listen backstage because attention whoring > racism. To make the night that much more uncomfortable, Faldio finally confesses to Alicia.
Reaction:
Is Largo secretly an Eleanor fanboy or something? I also noticed once again that Marina is the only one who takes care of Hans. I thought Alicia and Isara wanted Hans so badly! I like how Faldio is charging ahead, but it pains me to know that he obviously hasn’t seen the OP. Watching Faldio move in on Alicia and Isara, it was clear he thought he was the man; this will just make the inevitable fall that much more painful.
If tanks had feelings, do you think Edelweiss would be jealous that Isara cheated on him with an Imperial tank last episode? Isara was pretty cool this episode, confronting Rosie and yet backing down and apologizing for being self-righteous. I kinda like racist-Rosie for bucking the politically correct way of thinking and admitting to having no control over her hatred. Still, it’s a little odd that Rosie grew up in a village with a large number of Darcsens and yet had no Darcsen childhood friends to balance out her hatred of the Darcsens who murdered her family.
