Lightbox Added

I installed the Lightbox 2 plugin so that images that you click on SS!AB are overlaid right on the page itself.  I felt like some of the extra images that I included in posts would be better viewed this way, especially since you can easily browse all the pics in the post without hunting for links.  All I had to do was install and activate the plugin, and everything else worked right away.  Let me know if you have problems with this feature and/or hate it.

Absolutely LOVE IT!!! In fact, this is exactly what I want for my site, seeing as I have many clickable pics as well. I wish wordpress (free) would include such plugin =(. It would be nice if theres a similar program for youtube vids as well. (you kids and ur Kanye music, hyuk! =3)

For the most part it works great, but on some of the posts, the lightbox only activates for some of the pictures. Very odd…

So far I know you need to add a rel=”lightbox” or similar attribute to links which you want to open in the lightbox. There are also different versions of the plugin (perhaps Lightbox2, I don’t know?) which show videos the same way as images.

Nooooo! This means I’ll need to add this functionality soon too! (I’ve actually been thinking about it for a while, but was just too lazy to actually implement it)
