Kouki, there are better ways to lose weight

Everyone’s dropped in the middle of a big battle in Italy, although Hikawa and Chiaki are off slacking somewhere. Kei and Masaru notice that even though the Italian team has awesome weapons and suits, they are getting massacred. The Aliens this time are in the shape of mythological sculptures.

Italians love the futbol

So basically Aliens are flying around and kicking people’s heads off, so the Tokyo team decides to beat a hasty retreat. Kei and Masaru try to guard the rear by drawing their Gantz Swords, but more kicking ownage ensues.

Maybe try a Gantz Pumice Stone

While the rest of the Tokyo team goes straight, Kouki veers left while screaming his head off. Way to use that radar and/or follow your group… Anyway, as the chapter ends, Kouki finds that he has walked right into a crowd of Aliens. Kouki drops his weapon and tries to surrender, in hopes that he won’t get his head kicked off like every other casualty in this chapter.

Ugh, too many panels were devoted to Kouki this time. Does anyone even care what happens to him? It should be interesting to see how the Tokyo team gets out of this, seeing as they are all a bunch of n00bs with crappy equipment. I feel like the Tokyo team likes to save their points for pointless revives, and they simply scavenge equipment off of teams with better gear. I wonder why they aren’t allowed to take their new weapons with them into future missions, though.
