Hmm, somehow I ended up with mostly 1-cour series again in Fall, so my schedule should be open for at least 3 series in the Winter season. Only Michiko to Hatchin will be carried over, and there are not as many sequels this time around. Check out THAT’s preview for more in-depth knowledge.
Probably Will Blog
Shikabane-hime Kuro: It takes a lot for me to not blog the sequel when I blogged the prequel. Hopefully Ouri can stop sucking in season 2. Also, I figure this will probably only be 13 episodes, although I feel like I got tricked into blogging a 26 episode series since the two parts were in consecutive seasons.
The Tower of Druaga ~the Sword of Uruk~: I wish I had blogged the first season. If Neeba drunk-dials Fatina for a booty call, will she heed his call?
Sora wo Kakeru Shoujo: Holy crap, I don’t think I’ve blogged a Sunrise series since Mai Hime. The character art looks good and the story looks stupid, so I am strangely excited about this series. I love that it sounds like an errant OS X installation has caused the entire predicament.
Possibly Will Blog
Kemono no Souja Erin : Everything about this series from 50 episode count to the quest to become a veterinarian tells me to run away, and yet I still wonder if I should cover it. I really loved the author’s other work (Seirei no Moribito). On the other hand SnM had some slow moments, and this show would take up one of my slots for pretty much an entire year.
Kurokami the Animation: I’ve covered all the seasons of Shakugan no Shana so why not? I can’t help but notice that the main girl has a very long ahoge. Is it better to have length or width?
Maria†Holic: I didn’t think the manga was that great and I think the fascination with traps is silly (in an extremely homosexual way), but sometimes you gotta blog series to bring the readers in. Also, I like the artwork and character designs.
Ride Back: It’s between this and Viper’s Creed for which series I use to redeem myself. I’m through hating on motorcycles, but man I hope that her robo-bike doesn’t talk.
Might Watch, Won’t Blog
Viper’s Creed: That character art does not thrill me, but I feel like I have to atone for my unfair treatment of anime with motorcycles. Still, the plot sounds so generic and the main guy looks like he has a wooden starfish stuck on his eye.
Asu no Yoichi!: This looks like a standard harem mixed with martial arts. I liked the art, but digging around made it sound like there were be standard lame Love Hina-type perv-punching.
Chrome Shelled Regios: I’m all for clean renewable energy, but that preview looked really generic and boring.
Probably Won’t Watch
Akikan!: Major props for snagging the melonmelonmelon.com domain, but I’m not thrilled about the idea of some guy kissing a bunch of soda can girls. I’ve always disliked carbonated drinks, so even the decent looking art is not enough to sway me.
Zoku Natsume Yuujin-chou: Sequel of a show I didn’t watch, and it sounds even more boring the second time around. The plot still sounds like someone filling a little black book with Pokemon.
Genji Monogatari Sennenki: I was reading the plot, and two things immediately came to mind: 1) this sounds boring, and 2) leave Murasaki alone!
Minami-ke Okaeri: I loved season 1, but season 2 completely turned me off. I don’t think I will even watch this sequel, especially if it devolves into the same trap-based jokes over and over again.
White Album: As sad as those girls in snow look, the art I’ve seen doesn’t float my boat at all. For a show adapted from an eroge, the plot summary sure sounds dull.
Slayers EVOLUTION-R: My old love for Slayers wasn’t enough to get me to watch past the first episode of the fourth season.
Birdy the Might DECODE:02: Screw you Tsutomu! Unless I hear that Tsutomu gets the Tute treatment in season 2, I am not watching this sequel. How can they rebuild a human, but not a squid-robot?!
Hetalia Axis Powers: An interesting idea, but bishies and history are not really strong selling points with me.
