Birdy the Mighty Decode 11

Summary:

Sayaka is lonely and miserable, and Tsutomu spends every night watching over her from afar. Unfortunately, Birdy has a hard time telling Tsutomu about the Ryunka, and when she finally is able to Tsutomu is really upset. In fact, he fights her so hard that the effects of long-term mind fusion begin to set in, and they have to put Tsutomu back into his refurbished body.

Nejula informs Birdy that the council has decided to use Earth as a testing ground for Ryunka’s powers. Sayaka eventually goes to find Tsutomu but it is just a pit stop on her way to Shymalan. As Sayaka boards his Lost Bird cruise ship, Shymalan remarks that he will let Sayaka develop. Unfortunately, Nejula then presents Capella’s bird’s recording to Tsutomu and he realizes that Shymalan is a villain rather than a pedophile.

Reaction:

Tsutomu has been such a drag on this series, and he interferes with the investigation at every opportunity. I understand his feelings, but he is endangering all his friends. He is the classic guy who abandons all his friends as soon as he gets a girlfriend. Earth and bros before hos, Tsutomu!

Sharing a body does come with some perks though. If you go out and get completely wasted, the other person can take over and drive you home without fear of a DUI. It could also be good for grinding in MMORPGs, where you can take shifts and farm for gold. Speaking of partners, I wonder if Capella will be getting a green canary phone now.

About Kabitzin:
One of the founders of Sea Slugs, I handle most of the blog admin tasks while wearing my I AM BOSS shirt. I like my action series well-choreographed, and my romance series extra trashy. I also have a soft spot for puns.
