We find out that Joachim escaped with some money, and Seria gets reprimanded by her boss. The police cannot find out that they are selling children, and in a flashback we find out that Joachim’s behavior parallels that of a young Michiko. Michiko was angry when Seria sold Yolanda, but Seria stopped Michiko’s burglary attempt and asked her, “Can’t you trust me?” This is why Michiko thought she could entrust Seria with Hatchin, but now Michiko has no choice but to go ask for Ivan’s help again.
This time Ivan is willing to help her get back at Fantasma. Ivan helps sneak Michiko into the stadium where Vasili is trying to have Marco killed. Marco keeps winning, and this is preventing Vasili from sending money to Satoshi to pay off the government. Hatchin actually manages to escape on her own, and faces off against the bull with a ladle, while Michiko takes Marco’s place as matador and beats up Vasili. For saving his beloved Marco, Ivan tells Michiko that Satoshi is in Osso, and has gone underground to avoid his many enemies.
Reaction:
It was funny watching Michiko using Atsuko as a step-stool, but Seria really owned the hell out of Michiko in that bar. It seemed like Marco might have originally been an orphan under Seria’s care, since she took such an interest in his fights and she was so embarrassed at his press conference. I was also very impressed at how Michiko was able to catch Vasili’s sword bare-handed. Isn’t that typically an ougi?
The bullfight was definitely hilarious. I thought that Roman the Fourth would be friends with Hatchin since they shared a stable together, but maybe he’s got mad cow disease after eating his old buddy Shirkov the Third. The mistakes were pretty great too, like that absolutely pathetic sniper performance and Michiko’s initial failed Tarzan attempt. I am intrigued that the producers consider Michiko and Hatchin to be part of the Thick Rib. Anyway, Vasili is probably alive, and now that he knows that Hatchin is Hiroshi’s daughter the fattie will probably return to cause trouble for “HanaMore” in the future. Dasividania, Michiko!
