Summary:
Siesta is talking a good game and gets Louise to agree to a challenge: if Saito can find Louise at the Sleipnir Ball, Siesta will give up. The Sleipnir Ball is a masquerade dance where the Mirror of Truth makes you look like the person you admire most. Louise changes into her sister Cattleya, Tifa turns into Saito with breasts, Montmorency turns into Henrietta, Maricon turns into a chick from Real Drive, Osmond turns into some mystery hottie, everyone in Beatrice’s bitch-squad changes into Tifa, and Guiche turns into Guiche.
Nobody bothered to tell Saito about the Mirror of Truth, so just when he thinks he’s found Louise for a kiss, he ends up kissing a disguised Henrietta. Louise catches the two, and runs away in tears; meanwhile, Sheffeld uses her hypnosis bell to get Louise to come with her. Tabitha is working with Sheffield to delay Saito, but he is able to take Tabitha out pretty easily. Saito’s voice snaps Louise out of it and when she starts complaining again he shuts her up by sticking his tongue down her throat. Then, before Sheffield can do anything else, Kirche and Colbert-sensei show up and carpet bomb the bad guys.
Reaction:
Er, so I guess Colbert-sensei isn’t dead. Just when I thought it was a really powerful moment, it turns out that Colbert faked his death so that Agnes would stop stabbing everyone. Then he and Kirche bought a 1:1 ratio bomber plane kit and put it together over the last 8.5 episodes. I am going to be so mad if Wales comes back again. You just can’t trust anyone to die in anime anymore. That ticklish manta ray that Sheffield rides on is probably still alive and building a VF-25 right now.
This episode started so awesome with the betrayal of Louise by her best friend (who ironically admires Louise more than anyone). Unfortunately, this soap opera moment was broken up by the fact that the large bird in the sky was just Colbert and Kirche looking for Void Users to bomb. Meanwhile, it looks like Tabitha is totally getting the hots for Saito. She was getting awfully hot when she thought Saito was going to stick his sword into her.

I think Agnes is immune to Saito’s charm, because she likes the ladies.
However, if Agnes caught sight of Tifa disguised as Saito, I don’t know what would happen.
I would have been taken aback by Stephen Colbert’s reappearance too, if I wasn’t already spoiled by /a/ the first time he supposedly died.

she was too busy for love before, the whole vengence and stuff, wonder what will happen now that colbert is back…
oh oh ooooooooh…the story of season 3 is so ad and messed up…somehow it’s more ecchi than before. so, disapointed only interesting thing was queens emos towrds saito (sooner or later blah blah..) and tifa an elf butthis was destroyed by the fact that there is one more elf, of colurse, male.
colbert – this is sooo lame – so so lame – season 1 & 2 keep giving me hope for season 3…how comfortable..
