Summary:
Louise wants Saito to sign an anti-chest-touching pledge, but he is angry that she doesn’t trust him. Saito stomps around in an emo-funk and remembers how Colbert-sensei believed in him. He’s so depressed he even feeds his dinner to Sylphid. Faced with such angst, new recruit Gimli and some of the other Ondine Knights try to cheer Saito up by taking him to an underground peephole of the girls’ bathhouse.
At the bathhouse, Louise learns that Saito was telling the truth. At that moment, the peepers are discovered, but Tabitha whisks Saito to safety (while naked…) as thanks for feeding Sylphid. Oddly enough, as little puppets come out to dance, Tabitha is terrified that ghosts are coming and faints. Louise comes in and has some tender moments with Saito, only to discover Tabitha’s naked body which leads to more comical misunderstandings.
Reaction:
I’ve been critical of ZnT in the past, but I thought this episode was pretty good. I like the buildup of Tabitha’s story, even if it is much more subtle than usual. Also, the joke about Tabitha being even smaller than Louise was nicely set up and worked perfectly against the romantic backdrop. I can’t believe that damn Maricon has a chick (Bridgetta) and suddenly thinks he’s Will Smith or something. I think Guiche could have gotten off the hook if he lied and said that he just went along with the plan in order to peep on Montmorency (who lacks confidence in her looks).
Usually I don’t like Louise, but I think she’s in the right this time. You can’t put yourself in those bad situations, and Saito deserved what he got. At least he realized that he was breaking love laws, albeit without intent. I guess in this respect their relationship is developing. Speaking of development, that had to be crazy intimidating when Tifa was sidling up to Louise in the bathhouse. On the other hand, Louise probably made Tifa feel like even more of a freak than before, what with the size difference.

I don’t watch previews haha. Seems par for the course with ZnT though.
What can be flatter than a flat chest? The mind boggles.
Also, I’m disappointed that no girls other than Louise and Tifa were fondling one another. This goes against the folklore that girls play with each other’s boobies in the bath!
