The latest round of submissions will open up on August 6, 2008 EST. The 9rules blog has some tips and stats. The previous round had a lot of anime blogs accepted, so don’t forget to apply if you are interested (page should open up at midnight).

I should quit just so I can apply again and be accepted for the third time!!! Actually, they might not take me back if I keep quitting. I bet Baka-Raptor can get in!

I’ve actually gone home in my lunch break specially to get my application in asap. The quality of the anime blogs already accepted (yours included) is a bit daunting, but it never hurts to try! *fingers crossed*

If you want to apply, go for it! They accepted a lot of anime blogs last time, and even if you didn’t get in last time, it doesn’t hurt to try again =D.
If they accepted BGB (twice!) they should accept nearly any blog.

Grats to Martin, Maya, and Usagijen for getting accepted in this round! I scanned the list really quickly so it’s possible I missed any other anime sites that were accepted.

Too bad I won’t be reapplying in November, since “other” reasons 2 and 3 pretty much hit the nail on the coffin as to why I can’t join.

I’d like to think that Shin has a very distinguished blogging style and focus. The only reason I can think of as to why 9rules wouldn’t accept him is because they don’t want to be sued for promoting his blogging scandals lool.
