Damn, I felt so sorry for Cheryl and Alto in that battle - the feelings of rudundancy, of being replaced by someone else, were quite something.

The use of Ranka’s song in battle was quite chilling though. Nobody knows how she knows it, or what its true power is - the song is for me something powerful, beautiful and mysterious…hardly deserving of being used to taunt Vajra. She’s right to be asking herself why she’s using it in this way.

The devil is in the details though. The squishy green phone thingy that plays mini CDs by eating them…I WANT.

BluRay is just a glorified CD. Nothing says it’ll be used for distribution of music in a hundred years but they’ll have their uses even then as cheap, reasonably robust, disposable storage medium. Or maybe the DRM will be so tight that you can’t transfer music over the network anymore. After all, hasn’t Macross always been about heavy-armed musicians?

There are actually unconfirmed rumours that the FBI used Basara’s singing during the Waco Siege in Texas resulting in the deaths of more than 80 people.

Poor Ozma, he’s so going to die next episode just from next episode’s title.

This episode was pretty awesome, I loved the extra features on the phone and I wonder what else it can do. Frog phone 4tehWIN!

I do wonder though how close we are from having Sound Boosters v2 ™

I didn’t see the Geass eye, though while rewatching I did notice that Brera wears a lot of eye makeup…

I don’t usually watch the previews, but I hear it’s not looking good for Ozma. I’m wonder if he will really die without a sendoff episode, though.
