Summary:
After watching Kogarashi help out the Fish Guy and the Mayor, Miwa and Eiko ask for his help as well. By letting Naeka copy their homework, Miwa and Eiko get to borrow Kogarashi for a day so that their cake shop D’erlanger can outsell the new rival shop, Sweet Holstein. As expected, Sweet Holstein relies on using very busty waitresses to sell crappy cakes at exorbitant prices.
While Naeka infiltrates Sweet Holstein, Kogarashi starts whipping out some truly delicious (but nasty-looking) desserts. He easily grabs all the customers in the vicinity with his Maid Guy Trapping Voice, and everyone is wowed by how awesome his cakes are. Finally the stacked Sweet Holstein Manager comes over to accuse Kogarashi of using imitation crab meat. At the critical moment, however, a swordfish flops out of Kogarashi’s cake (yes… I know…) and pierces the manager’s shirt to reveal that she was using imitation mammaries. Sweet Holstein’s customer base is completely disenchanted, and D’erlanger gets to stay in business.
Reaction:
There were a few cute little details in this episode, but by and large the jokes were cliche and boring. This was one of the weakest episodes so far with lame Maid Guy abilities and unsurprising mammary jokes. Fubuki’s little bonnet pin and meido laptop were ok, and the cow-maid outfits were insulting-funny, but I found myself unimpressed with this episode.
Even a relatively large dose of Kogarashi was not enough to save the episode, although the dishes he prepared were certainly shocking. The only part that I felt was clever was when Naeka mentioned that she noticed the manager’s back strain did not seem bad enough for someone with such a huge rack. Usually KnMG is best when it sets up a cliche joke before it brings in a completely bizarre and ingenious punchline, but this episode really fell flat for me.

“Ahh..Snake Surprise!”
“What’s the surprise?”
It felt like they set back something 50 years though after I watched the episode. Though your middle mouseover caption is awesome. :P
MAID GUY TRAP VOICE.
Compared to the first half, there was sill a lack of Kogarashi in this ep which was mostly dominated by booby meido jokes. Though Kogarashi’s abilities here didn’t shine as much, I was ‘kinda’ glad to see some (alternative) cake pR0n :P
