Soul Eater 15

A coastal town got nommed, and Death the Kid along with the Thompson sisters are sent out to investigate. They investigate the remains of the town where the mysterious “Black Dragon” ship had left its teeth marks, and after some library research, the team paddle out to the Baltic sea to find the Black Dragon ship. Without much trouble, the three of them run into a dense fog and eventually into the Black Dragon. After boarding and some investigating, the three find the human souls which were remnants of those devoured by the Black Dragon’s nomming and a scarecrow character who defended the souls.

Unfortunately, Liz finds herself “devoured” by the ship which kept Death the Kid from attacking the scarecrow for fear of losing his attack symmetry. Inside the ship, Liz nervously wondered around until she ran into a young girl ghost who did the best she could in trying to lead Liz out of the ship, but Liz kept imagining it was part of the ghost’s deranged plot to eat her (though you wonder how ghosts can eat…). After some major poking and prodding, the ghost girl and her ghostly crew eventually lead Liz up to the ship’s deck where she rejoins Death the Kid and Patty, who were running away from scarecrow. And just before Death the Kid was able to start attacking, Scarecrow has his skull split by a flying sword, and Chrona appears on the scene and has Ragnarok gobble up all the human souls. So we’re left with a showdown between Death the Kid and a powered up Chrona and Ragnarok for the next episode.

After the hilarious previous episode, this one was sort of a let down since most of it revolved around how many different OMGWTFBBQ faces Liz could make. Although Patty did her best in trying to lighten the mood and nearly destroy Death the Kid’s face on the side of the ship. And what’s up with the weird contorted stance that Death the Kid was using at the end of the episode? Totally not symmetric!

Great episode, from where Soul Eater is going the Death God will soon be born. I really wonder what will happen to Soul as a result to combat that….the plot thickens…

It’s funny how Death the Kid is so powerful but his battles always end up being the goofiest conflicts in Soul Eater. Also, it’s very hard to take the Stance of Sin seriously…

I agree that this episode wasn’t that good, but any episode with *gasp* CHRONA *blush* is good enough for me! Next episode looks pretty action packed! Oh, and Ceiling Cat FTW! =3

I found the guys holding the arrow signs were kind of funny. Just the way they are all lined up in a row. Like not just a few, but a entire army of them.
