The final column represents the difference in rank between the people’s choice and blogger’s choice. In the majority of cases, both the PC and BC agreed or were only one spot off (i.e. PC voted a site as the best while BC voted the same site as second best). Ironically, although several bloggers were surprised that THAT won for PC Best Manga site, it still placed second in the BC.
In four cases, the difference in ranks was even greater. In the news and satire categories, the the PC winner did not even rank in the BC top three. I think the satire category was confusing for many, and I was surprised that Lolikitsune’s meta-blog won this category when he barely talks about anime at all. Anyways, congrats to all the winners. I think the categories could be reworked a bit and the website made friendlier, but overall I enjoyed the experience!

Also interesting is that the Bloggers appear to deliberately vote for a different blog in each category (in the spirit of spreading the love) whereas the general populace has no problem with voting the same blog for multiple categories.
There was a premature release of the results on my blog. A little mistake as I wanted to make sure that all results are correct and erratic votes are removed.
It is now here on the site.
Cheers! Congrats on the silver Award. I got to pester Mellow to create the award medals already. Slow bunnies.
But he talks about the anime blogging culture a lot, and satire isn’t relegated to a specific subject. That and the plugs (hidden and not so hidden) that he mentioned for ABA every so often. :P
No real surprises here, but I really don’t mind that. lol at Hinano winning for Best Satire People’s Choice-wise though. :P
Had no the Blogger’s choices were out… The two with the largest differences, well, the satire one is understandable considering the content however I myself was surprised for Danny Choo winning the best news, and felt the blogger’s choice was better. Then again, I am a blogger so… meh.
Fun ride all together though…
I don’t want my stinkin’ bronze medal for best dorama.
That’s a Booby Prize. And anyone who wins it gets lulz’d at.
Just accept it, don’t make a dorama!
Woo Silver! Congrats!
Aww the bloggers didn’t like Derailed… Is Rivua even funny? I find it to be more normal than funny most of the time.
THE VOTES WERE RIGGED!
… you’re still the winner of my heart!
btw, how much did you lose by? Just curious =3
*sniff* I wanted Walfas to win blog-related comic…
I think the vote results are floating out there somewhere for the people’s choice (which I am curious about), but I haven’t seen them posted anywhere.
