What I take issue with is the very lame gags. Green animal grabbing pantsu? Egg splatters in the face? At least the production team put in some shoddy animation to complete the comedy effect. I am ok with the romantic parts so far. I like that I am not sure who is going to end up with who, and it's hard to pick a favorite to cheer for. Unlike Reese's, I don't think it's working here. But on the Sheryl-Ranka thing, I think Sheryl seems genuinely impressed that Ranka wants to do it on her own terms; after all, that's how she did it. you got your love comedy in my macross!
