Liz is wetting her bed in fear of the crows, so her ninja-maid Shizuku and Shizuku’s old-looking twin sister Tsurara vow revenge. Tsurara wants to gather information and works with that green-haired girl to do recon. Unfortunately, all of GHG’s cameras get hacked by Kogarashi, and when the data is loaded it installs a special virus. The insidious virus plays the paralyzing Maid Guy Voice to freeze the victim and force her to watch a horrific bathing scene that stars the fish store owner.
Plan B is to infiltrate the school in seifuku costumes. Unfortunately, no one is fooled by Tsurara’s outfit, and Tsurara is forced into direct conflict against Kogarashi. While Tsurara succeeds in taking out his vision, hearing, and sense of touch, his other 37 senses continue to work, and she is quickly grabbed by his hair tentacles. Luckily, Shizuku uses the classic venus flytrap trick and tosses GHG in as a decoy, allowing Shizuku to rescue Tsurara.
Reaction:
I am totally sold on this series at this point. Even though the general plot is always so cliche, the twists are absolutely evil and ingenious. That Maid Guy Voice trick really warmed my heart, like I was camping those n00bs myself. It was especially odd and awesome how Kogarashi would then place the victim’s underwear on his/her head and then return to the camping spot. Also, the less said about that epic fish store owner video the better…
It’s too bad we didn’t get a name for GHG, but I liked how Kogarashi referred to her as a civilian and then gave her a Maid Guy Badge. The scene with Fubuki trying on Naeka’s uniform and implying that Naeka is too fat was above-average pandering, but really the Maid Guy Voice gag completely stole the show. I felt Shizuku did an especially good job when she was caught in the Maid Guy Voice in front of the huge HD screen, but the others were good too.
Kamen no Maid Guy 05
