From OS:
And the people co-blogging with me? They’re MY senpais. Let me introduce my colorful cast (In the order of which I received their e-mails):
Ten - Yummy Sushi Pajamas: Duh!
Matte - Chotto Matte!
Newt - Pretty Scythe
Anna - Tokyojupiter
There are no salary caps in anime blogging. This is quite a development, especially if you have been around the scene long enough to know all the illustrious writers. I know recruited team blogs are all the rage these days, but I’ve never seen a team of established writers thrown together like this. I don’t want to get ahead of myself, since we have yet to see any real posts, but this is still very exciting. I guess they don’t take old bloggers to the glue factory after all.
BTW, can someone please create this timeline that OS mentions? Anyone?

He and I are on it, actually. It’s a nostalgia project we thought up over IM, and it’ll happen sometime.
Make it so.
I’ve never heard of any of them besides Os. ENLIGHTEN ME, someone.
Thank you for the trackback. I hope that this project will be as epic as it looks on paper… but if we look at it and see that all the aforementioned bloggers will not be posting at our old “Post-all-the-time” pace… who knows what’ll happen.
Either way, the timeline is happening. I’m calling it the nOStalgia project. HA HA HA HA HA…. oh i’m too full of myself. Thanks again.
Yay, teamwork FTW!
You know, I am actually updating my old entry on the history of anime blogging. So, you can use it as a guide as well. I am bored enough to set it up again to update on 2006 - 2007.
There’s a HISTORY of anime blogging? What now? I feel senile suddenly.
heh, newt, i am editing it for 2007’s year and then i will post it soon. lolz.
>>I’m calling it the nOStalgia project
Now, Os, we agreed we’d call it nOStaLGia, to commemorate me being a total git …
Whoa, that really is an all-star cast of authors! If we could get Momotato also on board, the interweb would explode with greatness
This is such a wonderful development in the anime blogosphere, nice to see the sempais are back (and more females too! XD)
I do miss Momotato’s posts, his captions had a big influence on me.
I also feel a timeline project would work well if it could be edited like a wiki. It seems like a pain for two people to maintain.
Oh awesome, Anna and Matte are ‘coming back’? Very impressive lineup indeedy. I look forward to it.
No doubt then ‘Sea Slugs! Anime Blog’ would constantly be mysteriously edited into ‘Ender and Kungfucius Anime Blog’ from time to time.
BOXXXXXXXXXEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!
*is too noob to know any of those famous
oppaissenpais* Can’t wait to see what everyones so hyped for! Jesus accepts ALL types of RESURRECTION!!!Crap! I’ve been fooled! D:
But this is an epic idea. :P
Now, you made me feel old, Kabitzin. Hee.
Now, if only Momotato blogs again, the world will go round again. Yep, his captions were awesome. I still check his site every once in a while just in case.
I wouldn’t mind being a guest writer on one of the blogs I frequent. Though I’m not sure how welcome I’d be. :P
Leon, that’s an interesting point you bring up. I wonder why more blogs don’t have guest blogger features. It’s a nice low pressure way to contribute for the guest blogger, and it gives the main blogger great free content.
Sounds like a cool development. I used to read some of those blogs!
