Although all three of us on the team liked the full posts on the main page, I think the new format fosters more conversation and extends the life of each post. It looks like more viewers prefer the new look, since over 2/3's voted against full posts on the front page.

It really doesn't matter to me how long or short the front page posts are, but more important that there are now alot more posts on one page. You know how long it takes to search through posts when its only 3 posts per page? I mean, believe me, I would keep clicking the next page forever if I had to <del>cause I love you</del>, but for other people, I could understand it would get tiring. I'm glad you changed that

<blockquote>In the never-ending quest to goose pageviews</blockquote>

awwwww snap! No, really, I keeed. I keed. That was mean.

I usually come here from RSS so it makes no difference to me, but blurbs are a good way to avoid having to scroll through posts for shows I don't watch, etc.

If it is the most recent like on the front page, i would prefer full posts... I can get most of it read without clicking to another page. I like blurbs for older posts though...

That is just my preference though...

Why stop with short blurbs? I only list the post's title, date, and categories on the front page. You want content? Click on the links. My all-or-nothing design also avoids Caitlin's natural cut-off problem.

I like short blurbs but only if there's a natural cut-off. The excerpt feature that cuts off mid-sentence is a little annoying on the main page.
