We’re introduced to Death the Kid, who strangely enough is the son of Shinigami-sama, although Death doesn’t don the cool skull face mask like Shinigami-sama. And being that he’s Shinigami-sama’s son, Death seems to have a bit more leniency than most Meisters as he lets Lupin the Flash wannabe get away into the sewers when he criticizes his weapons Liz and Patty for messing up their stance symmetry. In fact, the whole episode revolves around Death’s OCD problems with symmetry where it almost gets him in trouble several times and continues to drive Liz rather crazy as Death complains that she and her sister have different heights, different hair colors, and different breast sizes. After making the seeming long trip to Egypt to capture a witch who’s trying to get at the Anubis pharaoh, Death decides to leave Liz and Patty there to fend for themselves against some happy face mummies as he makes the trip back to his room to make sure that one of his wall paintings was symmetrically placed along the wall. He makes it back to save Liz and Patty from the grips of the Pharaoh, but during the initial fight, Death gets injured and almost beaten to death admiring the symmetry of the Pharaoh’s coffin. But Death snaps out of it when the Pharaoh decides to get out of the coffin and reveal that he’s a quagmire of asymmetry, and Death proceeds to shoot down the Pharaoh with ease.
It’s pretty obvious that Death the Kid is probably the most powerful young Meister shown so far, but he probably has the most debilitating obsession out of all the male characters that probably will get him in deep trouble and make things more difficult when they don’t need to be. I’m surprised that he doesn’t get worked up over his asymmetric hair style more often :P Once he grows up, will be become Death the Man?

Begs the question: Who’s the mother?
Death the Mother.
Omg, I lovee Death the Kid, he’s so awesome!!
One thing that bothered me about this episode:
If you eat the soul of Pharaoh, who ate the soul of the witch, do you get credit for both souls? Is it like turducken? It was pretty close after the witch got eaten, so she shouldn’t have been digested yet.
This episode was great! Death the kid is definitely the most stylish of the 3 meisters, with his picky sense of aesthetics and his crazy upside-down gun shooting :).
Death the Kid is definitely G-STATUS MATERIAL!!! He’s a true pimp to the core! I loved how he obsessed over that kawaii Haro-like-Neko ball thing! True playa pimps give all da ladies a chance =3
He hit it then quit it, though.
