When it's being really random, it's fun, but Kyouka can be a bit much. That sort of character is nothing new, but I've really only <em>enjoyed</em> that kind of character once (you already invoked her name), and of course a lot of people don't even care for her. It threw me for a loop that episode 2 was so sweet, so maybe the show has got some surprises. One that didn't make your list I'm really liking so far is Kure-nai. It's a totally bizarre juxtaposition of sweet cuteness and ultraviolence. I’m really not sure about the whole Kyouran Kazoku Nikki thing.
