Summary:
Balle Masque’s plan was quite complicated, and the original PoE fountain from last season was actually stored and kept under Bel Peol’s seal. Once the tracker and anti-Keeper seal had been placed on the Reiji Maigo, Hecate was able to steal the hougu and place it inside the completed Silver suit. Even that annoying Konoe was part of the plan, as the data on emotions that was captured is used to control the experiment to use the Taimei Shihen to create the Gou no Ritsuzou (Statue of Pride).
Kazumi relays a message from Johan to the Flame Hazes to let them know that the Reiji Maigo has been taken. Although Yuuji has a much larger store of PoE, if they don’t recover the Reiji Maigo then Yuuji will disappear after he has exhausted his supply. Using the Haridan, Satou points out the weak spot in the blue barrier, but when Marjorie charges in she gets one-shot by the camping Sydonai. As Hecate and Sydonai hold off Wilhelmina and Shana, Yuuji battles the robo-scrubs and falls into the center of the twisted remains of the clock tower.

This was a fast-paced episode, and it looks like Balle Masque was really thinking long-term with their plan. They’ve totally run circles around the Flame Hazes, and things don’t look so good. I was rather disappointed in the way Marjorie got knocked out. That trap was so obvious that they should have made a small hole first and thrown in a wad of explosive bandages. Any FPS veteran knows you don’t just charge in without throwing a grenade or flashbang in first.
I love how Shana and Wilhelmina take a look at the splattered Marjorie and just say thanks before leaving her to bleed to death. Wilhelmina couldn’t spare a roll of bandages? Yuuji’s gotten pretty good at handling scrubs, and no doubt some deus ex machina will help him reach the donut center and recover his Reiji Maigo. Meanwhile, if Konoe is going to be the brains of the Gou no Ritsuzou, then that statue is going to end up being pretty dumb and helpless. I can already see the Gou no Ritsuzou waking up, grabbing Yuuji’s sleeve, and attracting birds.

I’m afraid I don’t see that happening all that easily. He’s lost his SP regen and the way he’s been shooting his silver loads at mobs, I’m afraid he’ll be spent way before crunch time, not to mention that he lost his melee weapon.
Wilhelmina must have brought the wrong type of bandages (like how you can stock up on wrong potions) or only had Sabrac-damage bandages from last time.
Never underestimate the value of Animal Friendship! BTW the malformed Konoe registry entry that you mentioned previously might also be the ‘deus ex machina’ to save Yuuji-gumi.

Owen: Yeah, unfortunately for Yuuji, all his attacks are based around the fact that he has tons of PoE and PoE regen. Blutsauger and silver wads all take a lot of PoE, and I was cringing at how haphazardly he was blowing his wad.
Zyl: I think you are right. Since the Konoe part is the brain, I think Yuuji will just end up chatting with the Gou no Ritsuzou and getting his Reiji Maigo back in exchange for a trip to the amusement park. Negotiations FTW! Will Hecate be the weak link yet again?

I’m with that. Said registry is all full of Yuuji anyway, and it always seemed like she was a wild card but never fully developed story-wise. Since they’re tying so much stuff together now, it might make sense.
