Summary:
Jibeta doesn’t really want to fly to his death in the freezing ocean, so Noe decides to just go home after doing some crazy projection on the poor rooster. Noe comes back and finds a crumpled up letter addressed to Jun; a phone call confirms that Jun has abandoned his dream of vocational school in order to work. Apparently Jun wants to be the first one to tap-that-azz, and so he tries to kiss Noe on the lips. Since this isn’t Shakugan no Shana, however, Noe declines the tongue action from her brother and goes to watch Shinichiro dance instead.
Shinichiro has greatly improved at dancing, but he can’t get his mind off his own shortcomings. He realizes he has been running away because he fears falling short of expectations. However, Shinichiro has finally finished the picture book and wants to share it with Noe. Worried that Noe is making a ferocious raburabu comeback, Hiromi tries to tell Noe not to interfere with the inevitable Hiromi x Shinichiro ending, but Noe isn’t too concerned. Even Hiromi’s blast from the past cannot keep Shinichiro from running after Noe, where he finds her climbing a tall tree and belly-flopping onto the ground.

The Isurugi family needs to put the hormones on hold for a little while and get some serious therapy! I was giggling so hard when Jun was trying to explain to Noe that his brotherly love was an incestual brotherly love and Noe was all like, “lolwut?” until he tried to steal her first kiss. Noe is totally crazy at this point, hearing voices in her head and jumping off trees. Jun’s going to come home and find Noe stirring an empty pot. Speaking of crazy, I liked how the Nakagami sake is called Tears of the Three Views.
Hiromi came off as rather desperate this episode, telling Aiko that Noe is no longer Shinichiro’s GF (at which point Aiko lamented at being so superfluous to the show). The tears of Hiromi had no real effect on Noe, and I was really disappointed to find that Hiromi was wearing fake rope sandals. That is totally cheating. Since begging Noe to go away and using a guilt trip didn’t work, the next step is to fight it out on the Jerry Springer show. I can’t wait for the final episode, even if Hiromi’s victory is no longer looking like a sure thing.

Hiromi comes off as a selfish bitch (is swearing allowed >_>), and I’m desperate to know Noe’s fate. If Noe dies… I will hate true tears so damn much.
Even though her effort was pointless, at least Hiromi was fighting for her happiness, unlike Noe, who just gave up on her relationship with Shin even though it was she who was officially Shin’s g/f and not Hiromi.
If Noe ends up in a body cast, Jun will steal her first kiss for sure!
I still like Hiromi, because she acts the way I would expect a normal person to act. Noe, on the other hand, is just nuts.

Well, of course Noe won’t die. But what’s so selfish confronting the opponent and telling her how you feel? Fair enough in MY point of view.
Anyway, I still see a clear Hiromi victory coming. Anything else would very much invalidate most of the earlier developments, and the corollary of the final twist in the final episode (don’t be the first girl the male lead talks to!) is also going to help her IMHO.

There is nothing wrong with Telling Noe how Hiromi feels, but it reeks of desperation and the final confrontation has barely even started. I wish Hiromi would tell Shin-chan exactly how she feels about Noe instead of mumble it. That way her “honest with each other” spiel would have had some weight.
It would really be such an upset if Noe was able to defeat BOTH childhood friends, especially considering that both Ai and Hiromi gave Shinichiro a kiss. If Noe wins, I will have no choice but to conclude that I have been living a lie. This could be worse than the threat in Dogma.
I think Hiromi wants to make sure Noe knows what’s up in the hopes that Noe will run home and cry instead of going to Shinichiro. You could say it works, too, since instead of going to Shinichiro, Noe goes and jumps off a tall tree.
BTW, this episode supports my claim that Noe is Raigomaru. I’d say Shinichiro is Jibeta at this point.
I don’t think Noe’s gone off the deep end. We already knows that she functions differently than other people, and her action in jumping off the tree trying to fly herself, predicated by wondering if she could see what Shinichiro has apparently seen (he’s actually “flying” now), makes sense. If you see where Noe’s coming from, that is. :P
From his thoughts during the dance and his blowing off of Hiromi several times, I’d like to think that Shin x Noe might actually come to be. But we’ll see. And Hiromi showed off a desperate aura, reminding me of Kei from ef with Miyako.

I am a bit disappointed in this series. I believe the beginning of the series was extremely strong. In fact I was completely hooked on the series up to the point where Hiromi announces that she was in fact Shinichiro’s sister… but then it all fell apart.
The past few episodes have felt like that since the ending has been decided already, they’re just stretching the story for the sake of making it 13 episodes. I have absolutely no idea what Shinichiro is thinking. He never really convincingly liked Noe anyway and he always like Hiromi. And Hiromi is like the hottest girl at school too.
Why isn’t he going all out for her happily since the series has already been resolved. Why do girls like Shinichiro who has seemingly no redeeming qualities (although Hiromi’s childhood friend thing may have an excuse)? Why the hell did the story make Jun like Noe in ‘that’ way? Was it just a cheap plot device to make her jump off a tree, because it was pretty stupid and completely not necessary. These questions were never convincingly answered for me, and thus I am disappointed.
Oh that and the animation really went downhill this past episode.
Actually Shinichiro has some redeeming qualities. He’s a pretty good artist and a decent dancer. Also it looks like he was protective of Hiromi back in the day (and also in standing up to his mom). So I would say that Hiromi and Noe are justified in liking him, especially since Noe is a kook. Also Shinichiro was a good friend for Miyokichi. Given the low standards held for most harem leads, I’d say that Shinichiro is at least above-average.
Poor Aiko really never did get on track as a main girl. I am glad they included her, however, just since it was interesting to see her spinning her wheels. Plus there is the possibility of Miyokichi and Shinichiro getting into a fight one day and Shinichiro blurting out, “Ai tried to shove her tongue down my throat, so take that!”
Finally, I think Shinichiro’s concern for Ai is friend-mode-concerned not lover-concerned or siscon-concerned. I was wrong about Jun, though, so I don’t plan to bet the house on this prediction. I agree the Jun siscon thing was stupid, but it was awesomely and laughably stupid.
