I would have thought Lacus Clyne to be the better ambassador. But I guess I can see why they’d want to distance themselves from GSD.

I grew up on Doraemon. On the anime and on the manga. I think it’s worth being the mascot because it is one of the most popular anime characters every kid (at least in asia) can relate to (aside from Goku from Dragonball).

I think Cheerio is actually the British equivalent of Aloha, that is it can be both a greeting and a parting.
