Summary:
Hiromi’s been having fun living in her own apartment for the last week and using her feet to dress herself. She invites Shinichiro over and then takes him to the beach (she loves snowy beaches); there, Hiromi suddenly kisses Shinichiro and sends his mind into turmoil. Not everyone is pleased by this latest development, however, and at the next basketball game the Hotarugawa girls’ team keeps tripping Hiromi until Jun rebukes the dirty Bruce Bowen-wannabes. Unfortunately, even these heroics are not enough to keep Hiromi from re-dumping Jun.
Shinichiro is tired of Noe and the picture book, so he slaps together a bad ending where Raigomaru chickens out while Jibeta tries to fly and dies. Shinichiro is depressed that he hasn’t done anything properly yet, but when he hears from Hiromi (who relunctantly relays Jun’s message) that Noe has been missing he dashes off to look for the little nut. Noe has been spending the night with Jibeta, but now she’s off to take Jibeta to fly at the beach. As Noe sings the Shinichiro-Roach song, she mentions that Hiromi is the one in Shinichiro’s heart, just as Shinichiro arrives.

Well well well, so much for CSNY. First off, I gotta tip my hat to Ai for suckering Miyokichi into giving her a chance as a friend with benefits. Cheap labor, and more access to Shinichiro? Well played, Ai! Anyway, I liked Hiromi even more for not leaving Noe to die in the cold and also for breaking it down to Jun that the contract was a bad idea. I almost suspect that Jun put the whole Hotarugawa girls’ team up to the scheme so that he could look cool saving Hiromi. Unfortunately, it didn’t work and his little sister is still single and crazy.
In fact, Noe seems to have gone from genki-crazy to emo-crazy. Maybe Jun should have thought this through a little more. Noe was not ready for a relationship (especially with a dating newbie) and she probably has avian flu now. By episode 13, she’s going to be dressing in all black and listening to bad music. Jun needs to just break down in front of Noe and make her realize the tears of a person dear to her were right in front of her all along. Also of note in this episode were Hiromi’s glasses and the fact that every girl eats blue popsicles after coming out of the shower. Oh yeah, btw: Show ▼

I was thinking that the whole rose-glasses thing made Hiromi look a bit like a more modern-day Narusagawa Naru.
Either way this was a pretty pointless filler episode. Shinichiro has already been kissed by his dream girl and pretty much knows where he stands, yet angst remains. Awaiting final resolution soon. Suzuka this is not…

Noooo, I hated Naru! If Hiromi started astro-punching Shinichiro every time he walked in on her, I would start crying true tears of my own.

It’s funny how charming everyone thinks Jun is. And yet, he doesn’t seem that charming to the viewer with the way he deadpans his lines to Hiromi.
Hiromi: You think you love me?
Jun: Of course I love everything about you, as I am required to per section 1.5.3.g of our contract.
Also, suddenly busting out Hiromi fanservice and glasses has to be a clear sign of eventual victory, right? I mean, how can Noe possibly compete against glasses + docile face + childhood friend? My inside sources indicate that (glasses + docile face + childhood friend) > (innocent face + chicken)
Rumor mongering is for idiots and cowards! It is utterly un-befitting of men. You have no proof that Jun even planned the whole stunt. If it were a Jun plan it would have been far better executed…Just because you are jealous of Jun nii’s ability to over awe the public doesn’t mean that it is in any way intentional. Jun doesn’t care what any one else thinks, all that matters is Noe. :P
Leave Noe alone she deserves a happy ending even if its with Jun, you got to fap to Hiromi’s foot leave Noe alone, meanie.

I have severely overestimated this show if that’s what happens.
I thought there was some good moments in this one. Aiko and Nobuse’s little exchange was very sweet unless your heart is made of bricks. And Hiromi’s almost-not-calling Shin made me gasp like a little girl.

errr, so yea, I like how some animes are finally putting some detail in the lips, like in the Hiromi/Shinichiro kiss scene! Its almost like you can feel the lips pressing against you… *blush* I mean, if they could add some bounce to the BAZOINKAS, why can’t they add alittle squish to teh lips…. I thought the best part of this episode was the one leg bra toe grab.
The toe thing confused me so much! Was she doing it standing? That would have been a truly amazing feat (nyuk nyuk). But if she sat down first, then it would have been easier to just grab an item with her hands first. I guess it was just meant to show that Hiromi can sit around and be weird now.
I thought it was meant to show how lucky Shin is that the girl who likes him has the strength and flexibility of a gymnast.
hehe yeah, i know i would choose Hiromi just for the potential sex. Noe needs a few years to grow, then i would sweep her away. by then i’d prolly be tired of Hiromi anyway. or i could just two-time them. both would work fine. I bet Aiko is the real freak tho.
