Summary:
Toraji has a business trip, so the club is given the week off. Everyone else ends up just going to practice anyway, but Yuuji has tickets for a live show featuring Cosmo 13 with Red Braver as a special guest. It’s very campy and childish, but Tamaki and a mysterious girl named Suzuki Rin are captivated. The two of them end up going head-to-head in a bonus quiz show for limited edition plushies, but Rin ends up winning in the sudden death karaoke.
However, since Rin was a little girl watching SHINAIder’s death scene, Rin has only had eyes for SHINAIder, and so gives the rest of the plushies to Tamaki. Tamaki’s awesome day continues when it turns out the guest who is staying over is the fight choreographer for the new Blade Braver movie. For some reason, Rin is also there and is already wearing a SHINAIder mask.

This episode was sooooo awesome! I didn’t think such a Tamaki-centric episode could be so amusing, but this episode was perfect. Rin has been a SHINAIder fan since his on-screen death 10 years ago, which makes her one of those annoying fans who sticks to one obsolete character in a series and never gives up. However, Rin is a true fan, and her ability to deliver an almost perfect rendition of the SHINAIder theme song dealt Tamaki a rare loss.
It was nice how the whole team pulled together to support Yuuji, but that relationship is more brother-sister than anything else. Tamaki herself was super cute rolling around on the bed thinking of braver, mispronouncing her name in front of the crowd, and reacting with shock and distress when Death Armor was resurrected. The eyecatch was also funny with a blushing Tamaki in Red Braver’s arms. I also liked how Miyako picked up on Dan using engrish to cheer her on. Damn that Carrie!

Tamaki is so cute, but I’m still wondering why the dad’s so concerned about Tamaki and Yuuji being together. Was it just cos he’s a guy and the dad’s just being overprotective? Yuuji is an awesome character too.

I wonder why Kawazoe-sensei is so anti-Yuuji, considering how Yuuji was even in his class. I guess he is just super-protective of his little Tamaki.
As for vocals in the DVD version… that could actually be really funny if they had good lyrics and a good singer.
I see it as less anti-Yuuji and more as just anti-guy. :P
