If everyone puts lots of comments on their favorite blogs, the bloggers will feel like they have a responsibility to an "audience" and will keep posting. The usual rules about "if you don't enjoy it any more you should stop" apply as always but in all honesty my enthusiasm ebbs and flows - some weeks I write a post each day, while others I go for up to a week without feeling the need to write anything.
