The armored hand begins to drain Pheles’ power, so soon a whole armored body begins to crawl out of Yuuji’s stomach. Marjorie quickly wraps the intruder up in spell insignia strands, hoping to pull Silver out. Before the ritual can be completed however, Konoe and her butler appear, and transform into Hecate and sweaty demon-lite Turbulent Ungula, Fecor. While Fecor throws up his nbreakable defensive wall, Magnesia, Hecate absorbs Konoe and stabs Yuuji in order to seal the Hougu and stop the suit of armor from escaping.

For some inexplicable reason, Hecate then launches an Aster barrage at Yuuji as he falls, and this causes Johan to commandeer Yuuji’s body in order to go make out with Pheles. While they engage in sickening lovu lovu talk, Johan transfers a ton of power to Pheles and tells her about a super secret mission she has to go on (if she wants any more sugar). Pheles gives Kazumi a cross before leaving, and everyone stands around feeling confused.

It looks like Balle Masque has the ability to teleport with Taimei Shihen (piece of ambitious song), and they do not want Silver to teleport around freely. BM has all but Silver’s head and left arm tied up in a lab, and I wonder what the connection is between Silver and Sabrac. The battle was really slick this episode, although everyone showed really varying levels of strategy. Fecor’s defensive wall was pretty lame, since it isn’t automated, and doesn’t completely cover him (unlike Pheles’). Meanwhile, watching Shana try to swim upstream over and over was like watching some kind of crippled retarded salmon struggle unsuccessfully.

In spite of all the new questions that popped up, at least this episode confirmed a few things for me. For instance, I’d say it’s now proven that french kissing is the most effective way to transfer PoE. Also the scene with Johan and Pheles brings out a slew of new excuses to use if your significant other ever finds you making out with someone else. You could either say that you were doing a PoE transfer, or you could pretend that the other person has momentarily assumed your S.O.’s PoE!
