Because of Phele’s unrestricted spell, Inbelna , Shana cannot sense her presence; this makes Pheles a tough opponent. Pheles is eager to free the Reiji Maigo from Yuuji’s sweaty body, but he stops her with an explosive silver blast of PoE and casts a Fuzetsu. Upon seeing the silver PoE, Majorie explodes into a ferocious bear rage, and begins haphazardly blasting everything in sight. Ogata is caught in one the of blasts and has an arm and leg torn off, but Satou reassures Tanaka that plastic surgeons are very good these days.
With some great tag team action, Shana and Wilhelmina are able to subdue both Pheles and Marjorie. Tanaka lays a guilt trip on Marjorie to calm her down, and Pheles reveals that the Destructive Blade, Sabrac, was the one who lay the beatdown on her and Johan. To save Johan, Pheles was forced to capture him within the Reiji Maigo pokeball, but before the Reiji Maigo zipped off, Sabrac cast some strange unrestricted spell on it. Pheles and Marjorie agree to wait another 10 episodes for Wilhelmina to call tech support and figure out why the Reiji Maigo is malfunctioning.
This was actually a pretty exciting episode, and both Shana and Wilhelmina got a chance to own it up. They said that Pheles was uber-powerful, but the lack of humans in her Tomogara diet has clearly interfered with her stamina. Meanwhile, there is no question why the animators have had Wilhelmina fight just about every hot female character so far. No doubt Wilhelmina’s tenderness towards Pheles will inspire many a doujinshi artist.
The mystery of Sabrac raised a lot more questions for me. Is Sabrac Silver? What did he do to the Reiji Maigo? Also, why was that sneaky leech Konoe and her scummy butler plotting over the festival? At least we now know why Yuuji is such a stud; he is at least twice as manly as every other character on the show. If Silver’s in the Reiji Maigo, that would make Yuuji three times as manly as your average fellow.

lol, I love your irreverent episode reviews for this show. It makes it sounds so much more entertaining than it is. Although admittedly it’s gotten a lot better now that the story is back on track.

Haha, you have no idea. Just wait until things pick up and all the mysteries are revealed (which hopefully will actually be this season).
The idea of people in the Reiji Maigo reminds me of Ginban Kaleidoscope.
