This almost makes me wish I had watched Clannad. But you know, if it’s not good enough for Anti-Spirals, then it’s not good enough for me.

I’ve got to disagree with that, too. Clannad is a very solid Key show so far. But just like there are some folks ready to overhype a show, some others are just as eager to slam a show incorrectly, aswell. Which is what happened here.
I like watching Clannad. It was the first show that I watch for the fall 2007 anime. Even though the part i hate is how one person could forget someone that they knew since childhood.

The problem is clannad sucks until you get to Nagisa’s story and unfortunately they’re putting the 2 least likeable characters out of the way first. So anyone who hasnt played the game and is calling this garbage is an over-closedminded idiot

The person who wrote that is fairly retarded. I can’t say I have ever read that blog, but going by the fact that he has the “spiral awards” I’ll go out on a limb and say he’s a GL fan. The amount of real plot in Clannad must have overwhelmed someone who is used to the lack of a real plot in GL.
First off, Gurren Lagann is an amazingly epic anime and no one can argue against that. If you do, then you need to be seen by a certified therapist *points above*. Clannad is a great show too. I will admit it’s overrated but how is it a faux drama? Anything from Key is always close to a masterpiece. That argument actually seems like a joke to me.
Yep, whatever these Anti-Spiral awards are, they sound dumber than a person who thinks the WBNA is a real league.
Clannad is hands down Kyoto’s best Key adaptation to date. Not sure why people don’t like Fuuko, but I found her hilarious. Much funnier than anything in Kanon and Air. Hell, some bits so far are even better than Suzumiya.
Really, anyone who snubs Clannad is just pretentiously going against the grain. It’s okay to conform sometimes.
Clannad is pretty good for me. I found the starting to be slightly weak but it got better real fast. You really should give it a chance

Yeah. Unfortunately, the tidal wave of retards who will accept any hot piece of anime behind that’s thrown at them is gigantic. Plus they have this amazing power to do an “about face” on reality and call normal people retarded. These retards who are fans of late-night anime like Clannad aren’t giving anything productive to society and need to kill themselves immediately. Now here we go:
Clannad is pure garbage because it’s Japanese anime standard to include some guy who ends up as everyone’s punching bag for the sake of laughs. And it’s based on a visual novel. Because retards can’t get real girlfriends to save their lives.
Also; Gurren Lagann is pure garbage because it’s made by Gainax, the very company that had okayed the creation of Evangelion which is the ultimate in pure garbage. Oh how easily the troll-hating anime fanbase retards forgive. (They show white goop on one emo character; they make a latest one look like a rear end, which is what 2chan had been called by the workers of Gainax.)
