Yuuji is still emo about blowing his silver wad on his first Fuzetsu, and everyone is busy preparing for the festival. While Ike is run ragged by rookie board-member Fujita, Shana and Kazumi start to get along better, especially after being targeted for a shower-grope at the hands of Nakamura.
Wilhelmina finally returns from her investigation, and tells Shana and Yuuji about a powerful former King of Guze, Pheles. The Beautiful Whim, Pheles is the inventor of the Reiji Maigo, and she made it for The Eternal Lover, Johan. The two of them were very much in love, and were known as both The Promised Two and the Engaged Link. In a certain battle, however, they lost the Reiji Maigo and Pheles has been searching for it ever since. Finders keepers!
I’m willing to bet that we won’t see Pheles next episode either, because SnS is all about dragging everything out as long as possible. The addition of the shower scene was so pointless, although Shana wondering about adding fat was amusing, considering she is on an all carbs and sugar diet. The festival arc has been rather lackluster so far, although I laughed when Marjorie asked if alcohol would be served as the HS festival. What would really kick the festival up a notch, however, would be a confession lounge.
Poor Yuuji, now facing double jeopardy from Silver and Pheles. Even worse, Wilhelmina is friends with Pheles; I expect Wilhelmina to sell Yuuji out! It seems so far that only Ogata’s getting anywhere, and it was funny how Kazumi and Shana immediately homed in on the lovu lovu vibes. Everyone else is sad and single, and even Alastor has to default to Chigusa’s advice on love.

but yea, I honestly wonder where they’re taking all of this. I wouldn’t be surprised if SnS came out with a third season….you know, like every other show this year.
