Nadeshiko invites Amu over to her creepy old mansion for a sleepover, and Amu is really excited about staying over at a friend’s house for the first time. Amu cleverly tells Ami some scary stories about the Fujisaki mansion, and her mother provides a gift worthy of any lady: the exceedingly popular and difficult to find detergent, Whitey Whitey.
Although from my point of view it looks like there isn’t anything fun to do at Nadeshiko’s house, Amu has a blast because she is easily amused. Nadeshiko even has Amu try out some traditional Japanese dancing, and Amu is pretty good until she is sidelined with a foot cramp for the rest of the season. That night, however, Amu catches Nadeshiko sneaking off to practice late at night. It seems that this is the first time Nadeshiko has chosen her friends over practicing, and Nadeshiko really wanted Amu over in spite of the rapidly approaching dance performance.
So now I know that women really want detergent and towel sets. This will truly be a Christmas to remember. The scene with Temari going all gangsta on that mouse (who was quite a cheeky fellow), makes me understand a bit more of Nadeshiko’s yandere character. Obviously she is tired of being all ladylike all the time, and wants to be uncouth and violent whenever her strict mom is not watching.
I liked the imagery of Nadeshiko’s family throwing ki blasts. Did you know there are a whole bunch of Hawaiian kings named Kamehameha? I wonder if that is what Master Roshi’s attack’s name came from.

LOL! I laughed so hard at the “Whitey Whitey”! I’m not too sure on the detergent, but towels are total win when it comes to women… just make sure it matches their bathroom or where ever they’re gonna put it! (hurr hurr, reminds me of a certain Everybody Loves Raymond episode) (just for the record, never buy things like deodorant, mouth wash, or other products that might suggest you hate the smell of someone, especially women…JUST DON’T DO IT!!!)

lol, yea, my “Clark Kent” class was in 7th grade…IT WAS TOO MUCH FOR ME! OH MAN THE HORROR OF A PREGNANT WOMA…ER…i mean, Superman’s true identity… (I bet its all too clear why I obsess over handsome men like you and Totali. Its cause I was never properly trained about the attractions of the opposite sex. All I knew was gym class…and the boys shower room… and the whipping “towels”! Yup! Its all coming together now!)

I always thought the “Kamehameha” was a turtle pun because Master Roshi has a turtle shell and a pet turtle.
Then again it might be a double-layered pun, since he had a turtle AND wore Hawaiian shirts/lived on a tropical island.
