It turns out that Annaberg has two very unique powers: he can get out the toughest wrinkles, and his steam fog can hide the presence of other Tomogara. With her senses confused, Marjorie falls for Sydonai’s rock turd kawarimi no jutsu. Before Sydonai can finish her off, however, Yuri finally finishes his boring speech and leaps to her aid. Yuri’s power is to form a large tornado of moths around himself, and even this pathetic ability is enough to take out Annaberg.

Yuri is enthralled at his new power, and over-extends himself trying to help Marjorie beat Sydonai. Although he succeeds in helping Marjorie escape, Yuri is caught in the crossfire, and perishes. Back in the present Marjorie drinks herself into a stupor and sheds a tear for poor Yuri, and Shana and Alastor are surprised when Yuuji’s flame manifests itself as that metallic liquid that Silver uses.

Wow, so what’s going on with Yuuji? He has been powering up at Saiyan speed this season. Is Silver supposed to be the Keeper or some other part of the Reiji Maigo? Marjorie is going to want to blast Yuuji to bits when she finds out. When you think about it, though, Silver probably saved Marjorie’s life from all those thugs. Besides, it’s not like those thugs had her name on them.

Meanwhile, Yuri is lucky that Sydonai didn’t turn into a giant strip of sticky paper or a bug zapper. I wonder what that story was really supposed to teach Satou, though. Even if Yuri did die, he was still successful in helping Marjorie. Isn’t that exactly what Satou wants? I think Satou already knows that Marjorie’s job is dangerous, and that tale probably strengthened his resolve. I expect Satou to find a Guze in the form of a codpiece by episode 16, so he can contract himself into being the newest Flame Haze.
