Wouldn’t you know it, but Amu’s sister Ami can see all the various Guardian Chara. The other Guardians inform Amu that sometimes childrean can see Guardian Chara before their own heart’s egg is born. Amu’s stuck babysitting Ami while her parents have an all day date, so Amu ditches her imouto with all the Guardian Chara so she can hang out with her friends. Unfortunately, with Kiseki in charge, the gang discovers an old crayon drawing that speaks of the egg of dreams protected by a fearsome dragon. Kiseki is sure that this is the Embryo, and so they fly off to search the school.
At Easter company HQ, Yuu fills in some executives on the status of the search, and Ikuto doesn’t like how things are going. Yoru declares that he will go and find the Embryo before those scumbags, while gothloli Utau vows she will get the Embryo for Ikuto by glomping him. Back at the school, there is a whole lot of rukus as the various Guardian Chara and Ami think they have found the Embryo (it is really just a pair of balloons). Ami also finds the time capsule buried under the Dragon Tree, while Yoru triumphantly brings back a balloon for Ikuto.
This episode was filled with silliness, but at least it was heartwarming. I think I’ve had enough of Ami now for the rest of the season, and I thought for sure Amu was going to drop her oneesan facade to slap Ami in front of the Guardians, but everyone was in a good mood because it was a lazy Sunday. Yoru was actually pretty funny in this episode, and I can’t believe he has his own cat gang. In fact, it looks like Yoru has way more followers than Kiseki.
Though the story didn’t advance much, a lot of little bits of information were thrown in. We got to see that Miki has a little crush on Kiseki and that Ikuto has the Dumpty Key. We also see that all the main employees at Easter have to wear a mustard suit and glasses. Last but not least, it was fun seeing loli-Amu being all tsundere while dreaming about being a cake decorator. Viva cake decoration!

This may be a faux pas, talking about an anime other than Shugo Chara in this discussion stream (let alone an anime you don’t cover at all), but towards the end of the latest episode of Clannad the characters have a discussion comparing humans to sea slugs.

Amu’s family is so lovable. They need more anime with good messages these days. I also like how the Easter company peeps have yellow suits like they do in Zombie Loan (LOL EASTER).
Oh man, I totally didn’t pick up on the mustard suit being the default “evil corporation of unnamed people” uniform for Peach Pit!
