A pop quiz is announced, and Satou slyly turns Ogata’s suggestion of an overnight Ike-cram session into a possibility for some group love. Shana is still emo, but Alastor convinces her that they will get their screentime cut if she keeps moping. While Ike, Yuuji, and Shana tutor the dummies, Kazumi is forced to slave in the kitchen since she is already good at school and cooking.
When Ogata goes to help Kazumi with the dishes, they run into a stumbling Marjorie Daw. “Omega-chan” remembers Marjorie from the Misago Festival, but Marjorie convinces the maidens that she is no cougar. And since Marjorie wants this show to be exciting again, she tells Kazumi and Ogata that love envy is normal. Kazumi wants to win fair and square, and she passes the advice on to Shana. Shana accepts the advice, snaps out of her emo funk, and decides to understand Yuuji by beating the crap out of him in practice.
While this boring love square continues, there were some amusing moments. I especially liked when the girls wandered off, and Tanaka complained about the sausage-fest. Shana’s blind leading the blind episode in the kitchen was pretty amusing as well. I also have to point out the outstanding eyecatch.
The previews make it look like Ike might get his moment in the sun. I see the plan he’s working on, and I think it’s sound. Wait till Yuuji messes up, and then spend enough time with Kazumi to box out for the rebound. What Ike hasn’t taken into account is that his extra screentime may lead to an early death. Meanwhile, Kazumi’s exile into the kitchen just set women’s rights back 15 years.

Hey……Kazumi just likes it in the kitchen. Leave her alone!
Send in Wilhelmina and her bewildering home cooking de arimasu!
You know, as big as Satou’s house is rumored to be, it never seems that big. Perhaps it is large by Japanese standards. I’m pretty sure we have yet to see a really large plush bedroom…
And is Tanaka ever at his own home? Does he just stay the night at Satou’s place?
I think Eita really does stay at Keisaku’s house actually, along with Margery. I think that was established in the first season at some point…I don’t remember exactly.
Also, I’ve noticed that you have joined some online cooking blog circles! How’s that going?
jk.. :3
Aw yeah… an assertive, bespectacled Shana is hawt too.
Personally, I only know how to prepare birdseed. Maybe Kabitzin can give me some cooking lessons.
