Well I didn’t win my own prize, lol, but I did win an iPod Extreme Makeover for my amazing poem.
iPod Extreme Makeover (new LCD, front plate, rear plate & battery for iPod Nano or Video) - iPod Repair of Memphis - won by Kabitzin
Oh hells yeah, that’s two readers who have won now (er, I consider myself a reader). The only problem is I don’t actually have one of these iPods to mod right now… So if you are interested in this prize (I’d hate to not be able to collect) comment below, and the first person to comment will get the makeover for their iPod.
On a personal note, this is the first thing I have ever won in a contest =D.

Onegaishimasu!
I noticed you won so I thought I’d check out your site. I’m not even sure what the prize means (ipod makeover) but sounds cool. This isn’t for just broken ipods right? I guess I’m the first to comment and I do have an ipod (unless someone typed about this before me ;-) ).
So….I commented on this but…exactly what is this ipod makeover?
Wow that was fast. It looks like Chichiwomoge was just barely first, and I have sent an email to confirm interest. If I don’t get a response by 6 PM EST, I’ll go down to the next person on the list (Josh).
From what I can tell, it is not for broken iPods, it is a mod of your face plates. Also you will get a new LCD and batteries, which is pretty sweet since iPod screens get scratched pretty easily.
That was a pretty gewd limerick too. Can’t believe you won the only non-ipod prize though
“If I had a million dollars… I’d give away some awesome prizes to my readers.”
ZOMFKAWAII!!1 \(><)/
So where can we check your account balance?
Which dollar anyway? If I had a million dollar I’d do it like the KLF: burn it!
Nooo damn you! You took the anime blog owner’s quota of prizes! *Must work harder to win prize*
According to the sponsor:
That sounds cool =).
HURRAY! WE BOTH WON SOMETHING! This is good advertising for your blog: “People who comment on Kabitzin’s blog has a 59% better chance of winning contests!”
*looks at Chris’s post* Cmon man, I said I was sorry! lol! You win the counter-post battle, I GIVE IN! *bows to Chris and hands over the jar of cookies*
Jesus15915919: “so…how are the jar of cookies?”
Chris: “*spits them back at Jesus* You call these cookies? These almost taste like…Kabitzin’s blog?
Jesus: “Thats because it IS Kabitzin’s blog! *BA DUM PSH!!!*”
Chris: “-_-…”
Jesus: “Try the potato salad!”
And yea, it sucks that you (or possibly Chichiwomoge) didn’t win an actual Ipod! Now that I think about it:
Kabitzin: “Comment on my blog and you’ll have a better chance of winning contests!”
Random Guy: “But don’t you only win crappy prizes if we comment your blog?”
Kabi and Jesus:
Jesus, even if you have some scars from picking your nose, you’re not supposed to snort the scar cream.
*snorts the scar scream* AAHHHh!!! NOW THATS SOME GOOD SHI RIGHT THUR! THIS IS THE BEST COCAINE I’VE HAD IN MY LIFE!….er.. I MEAN!!…this Cocaine
I read your poem Kabitzin, and I must say it was epic! ^_^
Dang…was I too late to respond? >_<
Chichiwomoge, I sent you an email, make sure to let me know if you decide to pass.
Did you get your Ipod Makeover kit (or send it to the winner) yet? Cause I received my scar cream today! :O YAYNESS!!! But in a sad turn of events, my mom took it for herself ;_; I was like, “hey mom! Look at this prize I’ve won!” and shes be eye-ballin ma Mederma, and was like, “I was just about to buy this!”. This is the second time someone took a prize that I’ve won…
The Mederma guys were kind enough to include this really tiny pack of “Mederma for Kids”, and a free Mederma Pen! Now I have something to pick my nose with AND heal my nose scars! THIS IS THE BEST PRIZE EVAR!!!
No one wanted the makeover kit and I had to tell the sponsor no one wanted his prize =\.
Chichiwomoge seemed like he wanted the prize! You know…I wouldn’t mind having an Ipod makeover kit, but I’m in the same boat as you since I don’t have an Ipod either. Wish they offered a Facial Makeover Kit, lol (yea, I know someone out there is gonna say “But thats what the scar cream is for!”).
Does this mean you didn’t accept the prize? If so, you could have accepted it and then gave it away in a future contest. You were talking about having a contest here, right? Also, it was your first time winning something, which means precious memories for life, YO!
It is definitely a precious memory of the springtime of my youth, but no one wanted to send in their iPod to get new parts, because it seems kinda risky. Can’t say I blame them. Oh well…
Oh, I thought the makeover kit was some screen protector they send you. Didn’t know you actually had to ship your own Ipod to get it pimped! In that case, it is pretty risky but I’d send it anyways only if I had a backup of all my music (I can trust anybody ^_^). There is the problem of waiting a very long time to get your Ipod back, and that sucks!
