Although their play was well received, the DRS audience was so small that the DC easily won the contest. With only 44 balls, the DRS is forced to disband, and the members spend the last meeting talking about why they joined. Risaki got in an argument with Mirei about Nono’s right to be on stage, and brashly said she’d quit the DC and join Nono. Takashi caught Nono crying and looking really vulnerable, and found himself caught up in her web of moe.
While Kai and Mugi are glad they joined, Mugi is extremely upset at herself. She feels like if she had only practiced seriously from the beginning, she could have made a difference. However, Takashi and Risaki reveal that they were planning to disband after this year (due to graduation) anyway; they simply wanted to be cool and disband after winning. And with that, the DRS comes to and end.
Man that DRS play was so crappy, that I can’t see how they could have won, even with a bigger audience. The confession scene was terrible, with Kai’s character being like, “Oh yeah, I love you too, ok see you later.” Speaking of confessions, I am seriously scared for Nono. I’m afraid Chitose will catch Takashi finally kissing Nono, prompting Chitose to run out and stab Nono in the vocal cords.
I’m glad there are still 3 more episodes, because it would be such a downer to end the series like this. It totally felt like a Bad Ending, with the DRS being disbanded and Mugi upset at herself. Hopefully Mugi will be able to gain more confidence and distance herself from the suicidal girl she portrayed in the play.

Maybe Nono’s voice loss was due to overuse of Flash Voice - her vocal chords have awakened!!
