Anime News Network recently ran a story about how the “Sailor Moon Sailor Stars: The Complete Official Boxset” being sold on Amazon.com was actually a bootleg. In the followup, I was tickled by this snippet:
Amazon had listed this unauthorized item for half a year as “Sailor Moon Sailor Stars: The Complete Official Boxset.” After ANN’s first news piece and reader feedback, Amazon then changed the listing’s title to “Sailor Moon Sailor Stars: The Complete Bootlegged Boxset” last week before removing it entirely Monday.
Haha, clearly the problem wasn’t that the boxset was mislabled, but rather that Amazon was selling a Sailor Moon boxset at all!

I feel bad for all those people that got tricked and bought the bootleg version. Look at those reviews ^_^;;;

LOL… I actually thought the same when I heard this news… changing the “label” first before finally realizing, “oh we’re not supposed to be selling bootlegs!” (a week later) o_O
