It’s time for all things shocking as the mimic inside EMLY is investigated. Inside is an alien brain and some eyeballs. Melchisedec has Sara link up to EMLY to discover the backstory, and glowing naked Sara witnesses what happened 600 years ago as a human vessel invaded the planet of the lolis. The alien race (I’ll refer to them as “Emilolis” since I don’t know what they are called) all share real-time consciousness, and the humans feel that this would be super useful. A great many Emilolis were dissected, with one sample going back to Glabella to develop the Strain as a military weapon.
The rest of the Emilolis tried to reunite, but unfortunately their gaming skills were lacking. Ralph took out so many of them (thinking their mechs were unmanned), but was surprised to learn the truth. Because of this, Ralph decides to try to reunite the last 1.5 remaining Emilolis together. As Ralph is sharing this intriguing flashback with EMLY and Sara, he slaughters the entire crew (even the bridge bunnies!) onboard the Deague ship and forces Captain Medlok to pilot the whole ship while only wearing a bath towel. Meanwhile, the Union ship finally arrives at Blagma to find that there are no friendlies around, which is extremely odd.
Holy crap, great episode! So in the end it is confirmed that Ralph is doing it all for the loli clones, which vaguely reminds me of the plotline of Bokusatsu Tenshi Dokuro-chan. The cruelty of the human race towards the Emilolis was unbelievable, especially in light of their shared consciousness. It is sorta suggested that the original Deague and the Emilolis are related, but I’m not exactly sure how.
However, in spite of having zero ping, the Emilolis are sadly pretty n00by at FPS. Ralph was able to take them out like he was playing against the CPU. Of course, Ralph is pretty crafty, as seen when he purposely leaves Colonel Barrow alive long enough to get the Tumor access codes. Now we need to learn why Blagma is deserted, why Ralph is puking blood, and what Emily plans to do when she is reunited with EMLY. Can 1 Emiloli combine with a brain and a pair of eyes to restore the Emiloli race?! Also, although almost all the Emilolis are shown with green eyes, why does Emily have red eyes and the power to warp?
