Inspired by The Mighty Ducks, Lotti decides the Flying V would be a good formation to use against Ralph and the Tumors. Unfortunately, the formation ends up sucking, and the majority of the pilots are not pulling their weight on the damage meters. Afterwards, everyone tries to reach out to Sara, but she rebuffs all their efforts. Instead, Sara goes to hang out with EMLY, and tells EMLY she can be Sara Werec only in EMLY’s presence.
After this, it’s time for a major guilt trip when the mechanics bring in some Gambee scraps to recycle for Sara’s Strain. When Sara receives a message from Mariette (who has haxxored the email header to make it look like Isabella sent the email), the Gambee scrubs ambush Sara and slap her around alot. Sara learns that Isabella has died, and feels guilty in light of the Gambee scraps. However, Mariette kicks it up a notch by throwing some haymakers and attempting to kill Sara with a metal rod. At this point, the Space Squadron steps in to save Sara and scare off the scrubs. Nobody messes with Lotti’s formations and lives.
Not much of substance happened in this episode, aside from Sara’s attempt at turning the other cheek. There was a bit of fleshing out of all the Reasoners in Lotti’s squad as we learn that Amy Ermengarde is on a strict diet and Martha loves meat. Captain Medlock seems content to just chase the Union ship for a few more episodes, since Ralph’s Strain’s Mercurion is only 48% purified and she has an insatiable libido.
It’s kinda depressing that they are using Gambee scraps for the Ink Strain. Also depressing is how craptacular Lavinia’s contribution is on the performance chart.

The Louise lookalike is actually “Ermy”, not Amy- short for Ermengarde.
Medlock just scares me. Can she die soon? I hate her stock character anyway.
Lavinia sucks
Fixed. I shoulda checked the chart instead of depending on the subs. Her name is so long it has to go to a smaller font to fit into the table…
I think she’s going to die as soon as Sara starts warming up to her, personally.
