Louise is awarded the title of Chevalier, and Henrietta asks Louise to see if Nobles really do treat Commoners like crap. Louise gets a bit of gold, but it isn’t enough to roll the way she likes. Unfortunately, after blowing all the money at a casino, Louise is forced to take a job at Scarron’s hardo-gaegh meido-inn. It’s a hard life, but at least Scarron’s busty daughter Jessica is friendly.
Louise wants to win the tips race, and earn the right to the [Enchanting Fairy Bustier] (which in turn should allow her to earn all the tip money she needs). Unfortunately, Louise can’t help but beat up all the drunk customers who call her flat and then try to grope her anyway. Things look bad until the particularly obnoxious tax collector Turene comes in and tries to molest Louise. Louise blows him up, shows off the royal edict, and then pockets a ton of tip money in return for her silence (allowing her to win the tips race). Elsewhere, a mysterious man frees Fuuka, a.k.a. Matilda of South Gotha.
There was a lot of great material in this episode, although some of it was breezed over. While Saito was awesome in using the shield of cultural differences to make out with Princess Henrietta right in front of Louise, he has trouble with the more voluptuous women. Saito took major damage to the face and nuts this episode, but it was probably worth it. At the same time, I have a hard time believing that Jessica really loves trashy stories so much as to give it up, so I can only assume she’s teasing Saito. I mean, hell I’m giving out summaries and spoilers to all kinds of trashy series, and I have yet to have any hot, busty shop managers putting my hand on a bosom.
I was surprised two specific moments were given such little attention: the image of Henrietta as the maid who earned so much she could retire, and the night where Louise crawled into bed with Saito. Also, as bad as Louise’s magic skills are, she’s starting to get the hang of using that instant, AOE smoke explosion spell against trash mobs.
