Right There With Unibrow

For those of you who look stuff up in paper dictionaries still, it seems that Merriam-Webster’s Collegiate Dictionary has added “manga” to their list of definitions.

manga (n) 1951: a Japanese comic book or graphic novel

This clearly trumps the fact that “google” was also added as a verb.

The Canadian version of the dictionary defines manga as “the depiction of erotic behavior intended to cause sexual excitement.”

“They” were saying that about AOL back in the 90’s and look how that turned out. They–only–own Time Warner and CNN two of the largest media/news companies in the world….oh humm.

I’d still put my money on Wal*Mart for world conquest. BTW, I heard about the manga def being added on…CNN!!

The Canadians are cool about everything except for their understanding of manga.
