It suddenly dawned on me why I have been unconsciously annoyed at Fate/Stay Night. Several comMentars have raised the topic of Archer’s true identity/previous life, and I think I may have figured it out. Both are long range shooters, albeit the most recent incarnation has learned a few new tricks instead of being a one-hit stock footage wonder. Same smirky confidence, less filling!
If this is the case, then is some yaoi action with Lancer much farther away? I’m tempted to make a lowbrow Gae Bulg joke at this point.
