These last two episodes mark the end of the Soul Society arc. From where we left off from episode 61, Komamura was sneaking up on Aizen for teh win, but Aizen once again shows that his hypnotic technique is too much for the captains as Aizen encloses Komamura in a black box, and Komamura emerges out of the black box all slashed up. During this time, we also get a flashback showing the relation that Komamura and Touzen developed, which sort of exposes why Komamura is angry/shocked that Touzen has taken such a path. After taking care of Komamura, Aizen uses a technique developed by Urahara to extract the Houkyoku out of Rukia, and then he orders Gin to her off. Gin extends his soul slayer out for the kill, but Byakuya comes out at the last second to move Rukia out of the way and take the blow from Gin’s soul slayer. More reinforcements come by as practically every remaining uninjured captain-level death god comes onto the scene. Even Ganju’s sister Kuukaku jumps out of the sky with Jidanbou to get a piece of the action! Sui Fong and Yoruichi tie up Aizen, Matsumoto has a blade to Gin’s throat, and Touzen is surrounded as well. So things aren’t looking too hot for Aizen, but out of no where, a beam of light races down from the sky encasing Aizen and his crew, and a huge number of Menos Grandes appear out of a crack from the sky. Aizen, Gin, and Touzen are lifted up to the sky, and Aizen declares that he will soon have his ultimate power with the Houkyoku in his hand. Once the three joined up with the Hollows, the Menos Grandes disappear off into the sky background.
With the enemy gone, the wounded are now tended to. During this time, an injured Byakuya tells the backstory to Rukia of how she was actually a sister of Byakuya’s wife Hisana, who had abandoned Rukia in the poorer part of the Soul Society. Regretting for having abandoned her younger sister, Hisana unsuccessfully attempted to find Rukia, and as a last request before dying, Hisana told Byakuya to bring Rukia to the Kuchiki family if he ever finds her, which was against the rules at the time. Byakuya followed through with his wife’s request, but then vowed to his deceased parents to never again break the rules.
The beginning of episode 63 is mostly a recap of the various fights and events that had taken place during the Soul Society arc, with commentary led by Kon, Ichigo, and Renji. After the recap, the episode ends with members of the Soul Society trying to resume life as it once was, and our heroes finally get to return back to the real world, but Rukia decides to stay behind in the Soul Society.
Looks like the anime Gods absolutely love me since two of my series have now become fillers since Kabitzin has informed me that Bleach will also be going into filler mode
Ah well, hopefully they’ll be easier to swallow than the Naruto ones.

How convenient that Aizen leaves without finishing off the job! If I were him I’d send in all those Menos Grandes to polish off the wounded heroes.
Fillers.. haiz.. i finally saw it and yea its definitely manga story arc.. but shouldn’t be as sucky as naruto’s fillers bah..
the actual filler though that just started for Bleach was good though :lolz:
