Rozen Maiden Träumend 08

Megu continues to wallow in self-pity, and Suigin Tou begins to have doubts about using up all the medium energy. At the same time, Sousei Seki is uneasy about not starting the Alice Game. Things are way too happy at the Sakurada household for Sousei Seki’s taste. Naturally, the situation is ripe for Bara Suishou and Shirosaki to play some mind games. Bara Suishou first tells Suigin Tou that Megu is going through early menopause and needs another Rosa Mystica to replenish her estrogen levels. Bara Suishou also hints that another Roza Mystica might help with Suigin Tou’s molting and belly-less-ness problem. Then Bara Suishou tells Sousei Seki that Father is suffering because he can’t find Alice. Sneaky!

Meanwhile, Shirosaki has Jun watch Enju make dolls. Jun watches how much effort and love goes into the process, but is unhappy with how Enju destroys imperfect creations. He later talks with Shinku about Father and why Father would create the Rozen Maidens. Shinku mentions that they do not remember his face, but they know his kindness; also, Father exists in every world, changing shape, travelling through time, and searching for a way to create Alice. Finally, the next day Sousei Seki announces to the group that she wants to begin the Alice Game and she wants to win for Father.

Things have certainly taken a serious and mysterious twist! I am especially intrigued by Shirosaki’s motives; does he want Jun to acquire skill to create the Philosopher Stone so that it can be easily stolen? It also seems that Bara Suishou and Shirosaki have different agendas that merely coincide at the moment. Sousei Seki may be a know-it-all, but she always gets lost emotionally (just like last season). And whose dream was that? Can’t wait for the next episode!

Shinku is really noisy when watching Kun-kun. She is such a fangirl.

Right, but I’m almost certain they recycled that joke from the first season. A nickel for Susei Souseiki’s thoughts when Jun asked her “You’re a doll, right?” and she blushes.

    Chris: Which joke?

Whats going on in Suiseseki’s mind: W00t, attention

Alice=philosphers stone= turn gold into lead = elixir of immortality = hommuculus?

Now thats just creepy. For one thing it means you can drink alice, and also alice is not only the seven rozen mysticas combined, but also all the dolls melded together into a demonish girl

I think Chris was referring to the gag about Shinku being a total Kun-kun fangirl. I mentioned the Philosopher’s Stone, because the manipulation of Jun seems to be similar to what happened in Full Metal Alchemist with Ed.

Interesting, you seem to run a grammar checker. Yes, I meant the fangirl joke. I don’t think Suisei Seki’s thoughts are of such innocent nature. Remember her dream talking?
