Although there wasn’t that much action between Genryuusai vs Ukitate and Kyouraku, we do learn that Ukitate and Kyouraku are the only Death Gods with dual-wielding soul slayers, and we all know that dual-wielding is cool :P Meanwhile, Sui Fong and Yoruichi battle off in a catfight for hand-to-hand combat supremacy, complete with a Flash Cry cliffhanger! It looks as if the layoff has caught up to Yoruichi a bit as she doesn’t look as invincible as she seemed before in her encounter with Byakuya, and Sui Fong is more than able to keep up with Yoruichi’s flash steps. And in between all this, Ganju’s sister makes a guest appearance to spice things up later.
Those mini-clips at the end of each episodes with Kon are pure comic gold :P
I’m more used to “Soi Fong” than “Sui Fong”. With a name like that, Soi Fong is probably Chinese, and in Chinese her name is read as “Sui Feng”. Instead of something in-between, I’d rather the subbers use “Soi Fong” or “Sui Feng”. Just a silly little nitpick of mine. (:
Those Radio Kon Golden things are LOVE. But I wish they hadn’t cut Tatsuki out of one of them. :x
I totally love the little Kon clips too =). There was some quality hand-to-hand action, although Soi Fong’s boasting is somewhat ridiculous when you think how Yuroichi is fighting her bare handed.
I dunno..? Soi Fong is a nice or bad characters?
But I like her. Cauze she looks so cool and have a great power + talents as a young girl.
